SURVIVE FOR KEANU

"Keanu? I'm home, honey!" said Cheery when she just arrived at her house.

Keanu came to his mother with a small bouquet in his hand.

"This is for you, Mama!" said the little one as he gave a bouquet in his hand.

"Hmm, flowers? What for, honey?" Cheery asked surprised, "Did you know that today I was accepted at the office that I came to today?" continued Cheery asked.

Keanu nodded and smiled.

"I had guessed beforehand. Isn't my mother a very smart and great person? Why can't my mom get the job?" Keanu answered according to his thoughts, "Besides, you came home this afternoon with a cheerful face, surely you are having fun things out there, right?" continued Keanu.

Cheery stroked the ends of her little son's hair and then kissed Keanu's forehead for a long time.

"My smart child! I love you so much, Keanu!" Cheery said affectionately to Keanu while hugging him.

"From today onwards, please be a good boy as usual. I will work even harder, so that you can study in a good place and your grandma will be healthy as before," Cheery said happily, "I am also planning to make a small flower shop for your grandma so she doesn't feel bored and has activities. Do you agree with my idea, honey?" Cheery asked.

A young woman's voice was heard calling from the front door of Cheery's house until Cheery and Keanu turned their heads at the same time.

"Sania? Have you come?" Cheery greeted when she found out that it was Sania who had just arrived.

"Of course! I don't want to miss the free dinner treat from the CEO's secretary, do I? Hahaha!" said Sania while laughing, "I also miss Auntie Lisa. I brought some supplements and vitamins for aunty. Then where is she?" said Sania ending with a question about her aunt's whereabouts.

"Grandma is in the backyard, Auntie! Grandma is watering the flowers she planted!" Keanu answered explaining to Sania.

"Whoa, isn't this Keanu?" said Sania, "I'm sorry, honey. When I picked you up yesterday, I forgot to talk to you because you went straight to rest with your grandma, right? And I forgot about you I was a fool to have forgotten that there was a cute and smart little angel like you, my dear!" said Sania, who is now half-squatting to equalize her position as high as Keanu.

"Don't praise me too much, Auntie. I'm afraid you will fall in love with me later!" Keanu replied teasing his aunt while smiling adorably.

The enchanted Sania immediately hugged Keanu tightly.

"Oh my God, why is there a child as handsome and smart as this in front of me? How about this? I'm completely in love with him!" Sania muttered to make everyone laugh.

'To see your happy smile, son. I will survive for you forever!' Cheery said in her heart.

After a warm dinner, Cheery and Sania chatted in Cheery's backyard while enjoying the fresh evening breeze.

"Cheery, if I'm being honest, I feel like Keanu looks like someone!" Sania speculated.

"Don't tell me that Keanu looks like the CEO of our office," Cheery said calmly. Meanwhile, Sania was flabbergasted by Cheery's words.

"Why do you jump to conclusions like that, huh? Is it true that the CEO of our office is Keanu's father?" Sania asked with urgency.

"Of course that's impossible. Damn, naive Sania! How could our CEO be Keanu's father!" grumbled Cheery replied, "Although I still don't know who Keanu's father is. I haven't wanted to find out anymore since Keanu was born. I don't want to repeat my sadness," Cheery replied pitifully.

"But I can't deny, that the faces of Keanu and our CEO are so similar. But I don't dare to assume even if I say it from my heart," she added.

"No, no! What you said is not what I thought. But what you said just now wasn't wrong either!" said Sania interrupting Cheery's words.

"What does it mean?" asks Cheery

"I'm not saying that Keanu and CEO are very similar. It's possible that at first glance, they are very similar. But it's not quite the same when I think of Keanu's face with the previous CEO's son!" Sania started to think while

"Our CEO already has a child? Isn't he still engaged to Miss Mona?" Cheery started to get confused because what Sania said she didn't know at all.

"That is not what I mean! I'm talking about the previous CEO, Sean Garendra. The current CEO's brother and I don't think you've seen him before."

"Seeing Ceo Sean with his wife is like seeing a couple who just came down from Heaven. It's as if God was unfair by creating a partner as perfect as them. And you know? Their children are also as perfect as their parents. And Keanu looks like their two sons! You will be surprised if you see them someday!"

Sania told a long story about the previous CEO. Even though she only knew a few things because at that time Sania had just worked at Garendra Corporation when Sean Garendra delegated the power of Garendra's company to his younger brother, Troy Garendra.

Hearing so much new information that he had to know, Cheery ran to the room quickly and in an instant came back to the surprised Sania.

"What are you doing, huh? Why are you running around at night like this?" Sania grumbled, surprised by Cheery's behavior.

"I took my notebook. I'll take the information I just heard from you. I won't make a mistake like this afternoon," Cheery replied while writing in her notebook.

"You know what, Sana? I didn't even recognize who my boss was this afternoon. I was too focused on studying his life and daily life in the office, regardless of how he looked. Until he came and sat in his chair, I even scolded him! Haven't I gone mad?"

"Yeah, you are crazy! How could you not know the face of your boss? Good thing you didn't get fired on your first day! You are so reckless!" Sania grumbled at her sister and best friend.

Cheery continued to write down whatever she thought was important to know about a Troy Garendra, including her superior's family.

Cheery's persistence made Sania speechless. For some reason, at this moment Sania thought back to the relationship between Cheery and Vano if Cheery knew that Vano was a friend of her current boss.

"Cheery?" called Sania who immediately answered "Hmm," directly by Cheery without turning to Sania.

"I met Vano yesterday," Sania's words this time made Cheery stop scribbling her pen even though she still didn't look at Sania.

"He asked me if I knew where you were. He told me that he missed you," said Sania, lowering her head and smiling sadly.

"Ignore it. I don't want to see him ever again," Cheery replied and seemed to start writing again. But the writing stopped again when Sania asked her.

"Do you still love Vano and will come back to him if he says that he will accept your child and raise him as his own?" Sania asked at length with a serious face.

Without Cheery knowing, when Sania asked that, her hands were tightly gripping the hem of her skirt with trembling hands.

On one hand, Sania wants Cheery to be happy with her life, but she knows that there is another life – Vano, who also wants to be happy with Cheery, which Sania can't let go of.

"No. I won't go back to him. I will not accept any offer to return to him. I have hurt him a lot with my betrayal. I don't want to ruin his life any more than that, Sania. Vano must be happy with another woman who is a thousand times better than me," said Cheery with a sad smile.

"He should be happy without me!" continued Cheery which immediately made Sania smile with relief, because her best friend chose the choice that would directly make it easier for her to get Vano.

"Cheery, can you adjust to your new job with the CEO?" Mona asked Cheery as she summoned Cheery to her room.

'I will die if the Ceo complains about my fatal mistake yesterday to Miss Mona!' Cheery muttered to herself.

"Hmm, yes. I can adjust myself to the CEO's busy schedule, Miss!" Cheery replied half lying.

"Thankfully, I think he was lying to me if he approved of my decision to make you his secretary. I'm afraid he's going to do something weird behind my back again to kick you out!" said Mona which immediately made Cheery relieved.

"Well, that's that then. Go back to your place. I don't want him to complain to me about you because you weren't around when he needed your help!" continued Mona ordering Cheery back to her place.

And sure enough, it was only a few moments before Cheery went to meet her Ceo's fiancé, Troy was already in a hurry to call her.
