School Grounds

Bink smiled brightly while side-eyeing Nio's Assitant. After some time she left, which marked the moments his smile fell.

"Alright, I'm going to take attendance, try to remember each other's name. Answer when you hear your name"

"Wrenlow Mu, don't answer, I know you're here. Your voice hurts my ear" Mr Bink stopped Wrenlow's enthusiasm its track

"Wenji Blackwell, ou, Another one, I guess doing one last year made things a bit more interesting."

"Junya… Wahahaha, this is really interesting! I'm 3 for 3! Junya, Wotanbe who is that?" Mr Bink guaffed looking at the class. Many turned senselessly, being none the wiser.

The name was recognizable, yet they had never known of someone like that in the class.

This was also true in that many people were connected to the internet. The names of Apex family members were available on the family website and also on social media where they had a large following. Even anonymous members who rarely posted were known by name or alias.

The name Junya Wotanbe was one no one knew, even after whispering among themselves.

"That's me sir, but there is no relation." An awkward smile hung on his face feeling the gaze of many people staring into the back of his neck.

"Hm? Concubine child maybe, platinum-coloured hair. I think a theocrat of the Wotanbe had platinum hair, but that would mean." Mr Binks heart lit up when he started thinking about the gossip. He laughed and mumbled to himself indulging himself in the 'tea'.

"How old is your mother?"

"She's dead"

A moment of silence made Mr Bink clear his throat, trying to weasel himself out of the awkward situation. He couldn't help the eerie feeling he was about to arrive at the bottom of the mystery, yet let it go.

"Well anyway, let's continue…"

After this, he finished the register and people knew the name of most and all of their names.

"Welp now that we're finished with that, now we are going to the actual school. This venue was simply chosen because of the Trail, while it is a school compound the building is located closer to the middle. You will receive your school documents and schedule of your different classes."

Around them, all the other students were gone. Yet, no one even realized when they left.

"Sir, is there a reason everyone is gone?"

"Didn't you just hear what I said? I just told you where they were gone! Follow me closely, where it won't take us long." Mr Bink leads the students past the large gates. After gaining entry they soon arrived at a building that was built from metal bearing painted in white and gold.

They entered together, immediately a bright light forced them to open their eyes halfway. As their eyes adjusted they saw a large clearing, further in front was a platform where the bring light emanated from.

It had a single person standing next to a control panel of sorts.

"Everyone, get a bag from the dispenser and step on the platform." Mr Bink yelled before getting onto the platform himself. They followed his instructions and continued onward.

The operator looked over all of them and nodded. "Ready for group teleport. Never leave the platform, Failing to do so will result in permanent damage irreversible to even the strongest healers. Close your eyes and place the bags over your mouths before the process can begin."

They all did as they were told, except some like Wrenlow and Wenji for obvious reasons, though he didn't seem worried.

Zwoom!

Light filled the room and Junya felt everything go dark. A feeling of being lost spread in Junya's mind until he realize it was because of the teleportation. His organs churned forcing him to hold his breath, yet wasn't even breathing at all.

His organ felt like it entered a ride at a fair. The whole process was simply a second and light came back to his eyes and his surroundings were different. He wasn't able to access anything as yet because his inside was spinning.

Junya felt his stomach wanting to vomit, even gagging a few times, yet he swallowed whatever came in his mouth.

The sound of guttural wrenches was all around him, with some students even filling the bag and needing another.

Wrenlow had a rare seriousness, yet he never gagged, this was also true for Wenji. Junya had remembered the detail about his father being able to teleport and assumed he must have grown used to the feeling.

"All right drama queens suck it up, why can't you be more like Wrenlow." Mr Bink walked off the platform while everyone was still puking into their bags. It took several minutes for them to get their bearing and walk straight.

As they arrived outside the room, which was located in a pillar that surrounded the school building. They arrived in front of the school, here it was much busier with students going in and out.

Other pillars close by also had students exiting. The pillars were few and far apart, yet Junya understood that each one had a teleporter inside. Just as he thought this, Mr Bink also explained.

"Teleportation. It's a rare blessing that very few people have, because of this it's in high demand since we have to get around quickly to keep society moving. In light of this, urp, we have to compensate by using technology. Someone with a blessing will be able to use their blessing on a wider scale if it's channelled through an Encrypted medium. It makes it easier for people with the blessing to transport a large group of people and not have to use as much energy." Mr Bink explained while walking in, toward the school.

"Later on encrypted weapons in class. For now, go pick up your documents from the office and choose two special skill classes and dorm room cards. After that, you will arrive at our class which will be outlined in the document you received. There we will have a talk about the future of our class and training…"

"Yes sir!" The class answered. He took a swing from his flask and turned around to exit.

They were inside the reception area where multiple offices were located. Loud groans expressed everyones feeling when they looked at the sight.

"Man this is annoying"

This'll take hours.

"What kind of bullshit is this.."

One by one, students complained, this was the same for everyone, not just his class. However, in the same order, they began taking their spots in lines before they line before they become any longer.

'This is definitely not it. I wonder If Alice could find it.'

Junya looked at the lines and they were growing longer, by the second, so he figured to take a spot in line.

"Hey, Junya where are you going?" Wrenlow called out to him.

Junya turned around rather confused, pointing infornt of him. Wrenlow chuckled, "Don't mind that, I can get through in a jiffy."

"Just follow me!" Wrenlow started marching off. He annoyedly, left Wenji behind, after being fed up with pushing him around. However a maid nearby hurried to push him along with them.

"Can you really do that?" Junya asked, so far it only looked like he was trying to bore the line. They had only walked past everyone else.

"Just watch and learn"
