Psychology Class [1/3]

"You left out this morning without me, why is that?"

"I dunno, just did." Junya gruffed.

"I will train with you later." He added feeling his tone was too callous.

"Nice, the guys are finishing up everything, so we will have a working gym back at the dorm."

Junya nodded as well before hailing Wenji. Whos condition was the same, but not his head was propped up by a neck rest and a new chair which held his body in place.

He looked up at Pearl and smiled, who did the same in kind.

"I guess she really gave you a shower then huh" Junya whispered in his ear.

"GAAAAH, COULDN'T YOU HAVE THOUGHT OF ANYTHING DIFFERENT" Wenji's face was blushed, yet he was angry at the same time.

Pearl wasn't sure of their conversation and stood back confused.

"My bad, Did she wash down their good? She might take advantage of you one day…'

"Hehehahah" Wrenlow laughed as well.

They both teamed up on him until right before class was about to begin. Extra lights were flicked on to aid the natural sunlight.

The rhythmic footsteps echoed off the ground and crescendoed as they reached closer.

Soon they stopped.

"Welcome, Everyone! To the first Mob Psychology and Anatomy Research Class." Raising his eyebrows Junya finally got a look at the instructor. It was Augustus, that he saw at 7 moons when Alice took him out.

His hands extended in the air, soaking the cheers that were being shouted for him. He was a good-looking instructor, His dark purple eyes were bright compared to his pale blonde hair. His smile was radiant and even charming to all the girls there.

It was almost like a celebrity walked in.

"What the hell is happening?"

"I don't know, I don't like this guy though". It was the first time Junya heard Wrenlow say something disapproving.

'Is he jealous?' Junya wondered, however highly doubted it, since in terms of status Wrenlow would be superior.

"Augustus"

"You know this clown?" Wrenlow's snapped at Junya.

"Only met him once, that's it"

"Hmph, fine" He went back to keeping a stern glare at Augustus.

"Don't mind him, he is just but hurt that the teacher is famous. That's all" Wenji chimed in. Junya shrugged, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.

The girl's cheers lasted a few minutes on end. After finally deciding to hush the group, was the class given some silence.

"Im glad to see you all excited, It's really my pleasure to dedicate you all to our Mob psychology class. This class is will be based upon crucial knowledge that you will need as Mobsters in Roaming or anything pertaining to that field.

"This class is however different from many others. In this class, we will be able to see as we learn, since it's important to be able to show you this kind of reaction and behaviour, while I can also explain what is happening.

This class will span the rest of the day, however, I will not be teaching anatomy research. Mister Ugge".

After explaining a little about the class ahead, he began his self-introduction.

"My name is Augustus Holding, without further ado, let's begin the class."

The glass became tinted and pictures began showing. One shows a four-legged mammal with a gorgeous golden-yellow mane. A large maw opened widely to take a large bite out of the animal it had just captured.

"Mob psychology with focuses on the multifaceted discipline and includes many sub-fields of study such areas as Mob development, habits, health, social behaviour and cognitive processes.

This will be an important class that will take priority over all your other skillset during Roaming. AL large portion of being a Mobster is understanding the way a Mob thinks. Animals before the Eve of Chaos were interesting, they would stalk their prey, inching ever so closely toward their prey before explosively attacking them, which by that time had already put them in an impossible situation.

You could argue that this was the birth of stealth. Their animal instincts are the reasons Lions could become the king of the jungle. They weren't the fastest or the strongest, but because they knew how to survive and play the system. It's almost like knowing the rules back and front."

He flicked the picture to another slide. Which showed a collage of many different animals.

"Humans have had a long history of mimicking things of nature to use as their own. Weapons, hunting habits, tauntings stealth. Military veterans always used this, while engaging enemies. If you thought war only started when your eyes meet the enemy you were wrong.

Execution is just a small part of it. Stalking, gathering information, surveillance, and threats, all this is a form of warfare that happens before the actual encounter. If you score an F in everything else. Even if you an A+ in fighting you can kiss winning goodbye.

This is the reason why Mob psychology is important, Dare I say the most important."

His words were definitely profound, Even Wrenlow didn't like him, yet couldn't deny that it made sense.

"Studying behaviour habit, tendencies, reflexed, style, smell, they way they walk the talk. Psychology is the ultimate weapon that anyone can use. Even right now we are in a psychological war"

He felt himself getting a little carried away.

"Even not were are in pressing time. Psychological tactics are the truth, predicting someone's action based on their previous actions or tendencies, will begin to break them down from the inside. Overloading their brain with panic leads them to their first mistake. That is where the true essence of psychology lies.

Watching someone for an hour than killing them the second they blink is much more effective than wantonly fighting someone and overpowering them. There are some functions even if you are aware, you can't break away from them.

Psyologiacal warfare is the proven most effective way to fight and preserve life."

"Sir, are we in a psychological warfare right now?" Someone asked, for some reason, it felt more like a lecture than a class, so it was surprising to see someone ask the question.

Augustus looked like he was getting in the mood and was very passionate.

"The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Of course, we are in a warfare time. Both sides are each other's throat, so it's definitely so."

Soon after the obvious question came.

"Well, are we winning?"

"That's the one weird thing about psychology in war. It doesn't matter if your psychological tactics are superb, they only matter after the outcome of the main event. Which could be the same for everything. To make sure this doesn't happen, I'm going to teach you things to look out for if you have the luck to spot a Mob before you do."
