Chapter 12

We eventually managed to get away from that annoying woman. And now we're sitting on one of the empty benches just below one of the large, shady trees. I tried hard to forget the words of the woman named Rosie Laurencia earlier, but I can't get her voice and her words out of my head, even though I'm no longer through her existence.

I lowered my head and sighed with relief whilst also holding my hands together. However, I was already fully conscious of this risk when I came to an agreement to comply with Beth's request, which persuaded me to attend a festival I hadn't attended in a long time due to the incident that had traumatized me until now.

And, while this isn't the first time I've heard hurtful words like the ones Rosie said to me when we met earlier, that doesn't mean I'll completely disregard her words and simply assume I never heard them.
