My girlfriend's voice sounded so sad when she found out that the results of her cooking had now turned into dust grains that were ready to be composted for the next life.

"Sorry, Shannon. It seems like I have failed you again." I said while lowering my head, holding back the guilt for failing to live up to my own expectations. "Even though I'm your teacher and have been trying my best so far only to make sure you can do it without any hassle as I planned, I still fail to help you with all this stuff."

"Yeah… That's fine, Marleen. I'm glad that we already tried to make all of this stuff for almost a day."

I quickly turned to Shanon, seeing the look on her face that didn't seem to match the tone of her voice at all when she said what she thought about one of my failures today.

"What? Why are you even happy about the fact that we've been trying to create all this mess for almost a day?"
