Becoming a Soul Artist was every kid's dream and goal in life. They would train hard since young and then join the Soul Academy to make their parents proud. 

When a mysterious teen walked up the stage to get tested during the yearly Selection, everyone assumed he had the same dream. 

They were wrong. 

He had much bigger goals and he bet with his life to achieve them. 

His name was Number One.

Number One waited for a few seconds to see if anyone else was just as ignorant as the old man. Even though he was a White Talent, the stability of his Alchemy Flame was impeccable thanks to his knowledge and the Silver Spring lady was able to see that.

"It's quite impressive how you can reach such skill while only having White Soul Energy. I would not believe it either if you didn't display your Alchemy Flame," the Silver Spring lady commented while brushing through her long black hair and turning her whole body to Number One. "I have been working with many Alchemists and I never saw anyone with such a stable flame. Only a Legendary Alchemist could be capable of training such talent."

Number One only smiled in response and returned back to the topic. "I'm sure some of you might still doubt me but that's fine. I'm not asking you to commit right away and you can instead see the fruits of my labor first."
