sitting down,Ruby looked at the variety of food in front of her hungrily. she had always been a foodie no matter how busy she was she wouldnt skip her food for anything at all..
Her father Mr coghlan looked interesting at his daughter and chuckled lightly....
" ruby dear you know you can eat everything if u want right.. it seems you don't even want to share with us" he said with a chuckle...
Raina and Mrs coghlan burst out laughing
"ha ha ha dad you see the look on her face, she certainly doesn't want to share " Raina added smiling brightly at her father.
" stop teasing my daughter will you "Mrs coghlan said smiling lightly while looking at her eldest daughter who was blushing furiously and glaring at her younger sister.
"Ruby, I have something important to talk to you about" her father told her softly while staring at her face.
ruby paused for a while and looked at her dad
. "what is it dad am all ears"
" honey can't it wait till we finish eating " Mrs coghlan interjected coolly.
" okay dear.. Ruby let's talk after lunch OK "
" okay dad " she replied softly
30 Minutes later
sitting in the well furnished and expensive living room Mr and Mrs coghlan along with their two daughters were discussing.
"Ruby dear I really hope you would listen to us before rejecting our proposal " Mrs coghlan said pleadingly while staring at her daughter...
Ruby looked at her mother while frowning her brows lightly " what are the going to tell me it seems pretty serious she thought silenty before asking her parents to go ahead...
" you... you.. you know you are young anymore right " Mrs coghlan continued lightly not wanting to get her daughter upset...
" we would love for you to get married " Mr coghlan said interjecting his wife..
"WHAT" Raina scremed she looked at her sister who wasn't even shocked.
Ruby paused and looked at them.. lightly ...so this is what the wanted to talk about she thought..
Raina stared at her parents in shock and wanted to say something but one look from her sister made her unable to say anything .
" Ruby you must understand that we are doing this for you we really want you to settle down with a nice partner " Mr coghlan said.
" and who is this right partner if I may asked " Raina said right away... " because it seems you already have someone in mind ' she continued after a pause.
staring at his wife Mr coghlan sighed softly
" it Damon Salvatore and ....
" what!!! Raina scremed in shock cutting off her father dad aren't we supposed to be enemies why are suddenly pushing your daughter into the lions den "
"Raina control your self " ruby told her softly.
" Raina dear you have to calm down. we are just trying to settle the conflict from before " Mrs coghlan said
"who proposed the marriage Ruby asked softly
was it the Salvatores or... did you"
" no.. no.. no .. we didn't. the Mr Salvatore came to see me at the office last Monday with a marriage and business proposal.. of course am not doing this for business purposes. we just want peace to reign "
After a short Pauce Ruby sighed and got up from the couch. straightening her clothes she looked at her parents and answered .
" you can tell them to come... am ready to get married ". and she left after that
Mr and Mrs coghlan looked shocked but happy and Raina looked terrified she couldn't believe her cold but amazing sister agreed to such a proposal.. standing up she followed after her sister....
" sis you know you don't have to do this right" she asked softly .
" I know Raina.. but am OK with the proposal as long as the don't try anything funny " ruby said
" OK sis ..but whatever you decide I'll support you " she told her.
" I know raina..ruby said and hugged her sister lightly
"now go away I want to take a nap before going out "
" okay bye sis.... see you later " she said smiling brightly.
Stepping into her room ruby walked towards the vanity mirror.... sitting in front of her mirror she looked at her self and smiled.. picked up her phone she texted a number.
"" (I never knew you were this good... my parents agreed to your proposal.congrats baby we are getting married )"" she smiled and sent the message.
keeping her phone aside she walked towards her bed a lied down with a smile on her face....

Salvatore mansion
A very beautiful and Luxurious house located at the far end of the country surrounded by high trees and situated around beautiful flowers...who ever looked at the house would that the house was that if very rich and powerful people...
stepping out of the car Demon walked in to the house in his usual cold expression when suddenly a little bun was seen running in sluggish steps towards him..
"uncle Damon" little Ali said in her beautiful voice ...
A bright smile appeared on his cold face.. he picked her up and twirled her around while she giggled happily .
" my little Ali did you miss me " Damon asked with a soft smile.
" yes uncle I missed you so much... nobody gave me chocolate while you were away" she said while pouting her lips...
Damon chuckled softly and said " Oohh you don't miss me you miss my chocolate... little Ali you've become naughty "
" oh no uncle am a good girl" she replied quietly
" alright let's go inside it cold outside " he said and brought her inside the mansion.
