Tomioka and tanjiro were classmates. Tanjiro had a crush on Tomioka. Every time he saw him his heartbeat went fast, and the time stopped, But he would always embarrass himself.

"Hello" said Tanjiro.

I guess he couldn't listen to me. Like he's so popular and I'm just a nerd who tries his best. I can never get him. He's like a fiction crush to me. His eyes are so deep, he's handsome and he's good at everything.

I asked him" What are you doing ?" he just said that " We are getting a new roommate so I'm checking.". I got confused and then realized that our teacher told us that some rooms will be down due to construction.

Yushiro- Some guy from room 307 will stay with us.

They both settle down. At night Tanjiro requested Yushiro again and again so he sleeps with him, not Tomioka but it didn't work. Tanjiro and Tomioka were sleeping facing the back. Tomioka was shocked by Tanjiro flinching at him. He alway's knew Tanjiro as a nerd and a boy who can't to anything. His feeling was growing but Tanjiro's feeling were slightly getting over for Tomioka.

It's been a few days since that incident. I was a bit rude but what could I have done, He can't be this arrogant. Anyway, our summer holidays are starting soon and I'm the most excited. Finally, I could spend some time with Nezuko and master Urokodaki. I never really got time as I lived in the school dorm and we hardly talked on the phone.

" Zenitsu, Come it's time for recess." Shouted Tanjiro.

Both of them sat down and started talking about random things. "Did you choose a partner for the holiday homework? I am with Inosuke as per our teacher assigned." Said Zenitsu. "We will get to know in the next period. I don't understand why do we have to team up. After a long time, Nezuko and Master Urokodaki are coming." Replied Tanjiro. "I know but it's not like we can do anything. W-well can you give me Nezuko chan's number?" Asked Zenitsu. "NO WAY". They finished the food and went their ways. "Who would probably be my partner? I hope we both get along, Of course, it can't be Tomioka san as he is 2 years older than me." Thought Tanjiro. With that, he entered the classroom and sat on the chair.

"Hey, Tanjiro here's your form for the clubs and sports. Fill by tomorrow." Said Kanao

"Okay"

"Ahem ahem, Students today we have a new student. He joined a bit late and at the wrong time but I hope you would treat him right." Said The Teacher

"Hello, My name is Haruto Komichi and I'm a new student here." Said Haruto

Tanjiro didn't pay that much attention as he was filling the culbs and sports form so he could be with Tomioka. "Okay then go and sit beside Tanjiro.".

"Hey, your name is Tanjiro right?"

"Uh yes."

In between Haruto tried to talk to Tanjiro but he didn't talk much or you could say he was a bit uncomfortable with what question Haruto asked him. The teacher was now announcing the pair and it was time for Tanjiro.

"So Tanjiro your partner would be Haruto Komichi. Your theme will be the "fresh summer" make a report or an essay about climate in summer."

Tanjiro wasn't happy. He expected Kanao or Yushiro but it was Haruto. "So we can meet at the nearby coffee shop and start early so we have more time to enjoy the holidays." Said Haruto. Both of them decided to meet at Starbucks and do the work there.

Tomioka POV

My classes just got over and my partner is Shinobu. She just teases me a lot about random things. "So Tomioka san we shall meet at Starbucks at 5 pm." Asked Shinobu. "Yeah". I don't even want to do anything, It's so stupid that we have to write something about summer. Does it even make sense to team up? I just didn't want to go to the dorm right now. My classes are over so I was just walking in the hall and saw someone with Tanjiro. They get along I assume but I have never seen him before he could be the new student. Why is the clinging on to Tanjiro? Uh, I don't even care.

"Tomioka san, How are you?" Asked Tanjiro

"I am fine."

What else could I have said. Did he even forget what mean things he said to me?

Tanjiro POV

I'm trying my best to make up with Tomioka san, Even though it was also his fault but I shouldn't have said these things to him. I was really rude and I want to apologize but he doesn't listen to me. I have no clue why this Haruto guy is following me everywhere I go, I mean he can ask someone else for help. I am uncomfortable around him. "Well, Haruto kun if you don't mind I am going to the washroom so you can wait here," I said. "Okay but we can go to the washroom together*smirk*. Replied Haruto." Huh" Dammit I'm uncomfortable now.

Timeskip to 5pm

Tomioka POV

Shit, I'm late. I accidentally slept in the park and now I Shinobu has another chance to tease me. Luckily She was also late so I got to tease her.

"So your late"

"Shut up, I was just busy."

We both started discussing the project. "I'm going to buy a coffee want one?" I asked. "Uh fine. We can take a break but I'm not paying" Said Shinobu. I rolled my eyes. I ordered some black coffee and Ice tea for Shinobu as she doesn't like coffee that much. We have been friends since we were kids so I know a lot about her. I waved to Shinobu as a sign to come as there was some deal. I suddenly saw Tanjiro and the other dude together. Are they together?. Dammit, I shouldn't even care. But they are sitting too close.

"What happened Tomioka san." Said Shinobu

"Uh well look here, We can use this poster as an idea. It would look magnificent"

"Wow! I-It's an amazing idea. I never knew you were this creative." Said Shinobu

I took the poster and we both went to sit. Even though I found an idea, I'm distracted by Tanjiro and the other guy. Something just makes no sense. At the start, he was all clingy and talked to me more often and now it's all awkward.

Shinobu POV

I was taking pics and making some important notes from the poster. Tomioka san didn't look interested and then I saw where he was looking. That's Tanjiro and Haruto. I heard that there was an argument between Tanjiro and Tomioka san, So that's why he isn't interested. "Tomioka san, What's wrong your my best friend so I can read your mind," I said. "Nothing, You're not that smart". Said Tomioka. "Oh please stop lying what made you think I don't know you. Is it because of the argument with Tanjiro? Even if you don't want to tell me let me tell you that the other guy sitting with him is Haruto Komichi and h-he is a criminal."I said.

"What do you mean. The t-that guy is a criminal? I will tell you everything if you tell me about him"

"Okay then tell me what's wrong," I Said

" Things just got awkward between us after that argument. Even though I know I was rude but I just wanted him to give me some attention. Tell me what should I do now. He is now hanging out with a criminal and I don't even know how I feel. He does try to communicate with me but it never works out. Now please tell me about Haruto Komichi." Said Tomioka

"I see, I can't give you any advice but I do know something about Haruto Komichi. Many years ago we went to a boxing camp together and we got along but that night he got so aggressive that he killed another man. I wasn't there but soon the police were called. But by then he had already been gone. He did got found and went to Jail for a few years. People even say that he has now calmed down but still, he's a heartthrob. I might not say him as a criminal now. But he is a gay and just try's to hook up with random guys." I said

"Is he trying to do it with Tanjiro? I might just beat his ass right now." Said Tomioka

"Woah calm down, We are not sure yet. It could just have been a rumor so don't try anything stupid" I said

He didn't seem satisfied but still, he can't just do this. Tomioka san is strong and he is good at using Kanata. "We were here to work. So start now.". I think that Tanjiro was feeling uncomfortable. I don't know a lot about Tanjiro but I am sure that he is uncomfortable. Haruto was clinging to him and now I understand why Tomioka san can't concentrate.

Tanjiro POV

I'm so done, It gets annoying but at least he's trying to be more friendly than Tomioka san who contently ignores me."So let's go now. We can complete the reaming work later." I said. It was almost 8 pm by now. But in Japan, this time it get's dark and I was genuinely scared. The streets were dark and there weren't many people." Are you sure this is the right way?" I asked. Haruto just nodded. S-Something is wrong with this place. And he suddenly held me and pinned me to the wall. "W-What are you doing". "Nothing just seeing how beautiful are you," Said Haruto.

Author POV

Someone just pushed Haruto and that was Tomioka. "Stay away. GO NOW". "What is wrong with you. DID YOU JUST ALLOW SOMEONE TO TOUCH YOU." Said Tomioka

"You are the one who is touching me. At least he doesn't ignore me. For me, you look like a stalker." Said Tanjiro

Tomioka was so angry but he calmed down. "Your too naive Tanjiro. Don't trust others so easily" Said Tomioka and left. Tanjiro was on the urge of crying. The guy whom he loved for years is like this. "W-what did I do wrong, I just choose someone who would love me. I tried for years but he didn't even notice me. All these years I am the one who got heartbroken." Said Tanjiro

Flashback to 14th February

"Here you go Tomioka san, I made you a chocolate" Said Tanjiro

Tomioka just threw the chocolate away.

"How many times did I tell you not to call me Tomioka san. And this chocolate is pathetic. Go do something better. I'd prefer chocolate from any girl. You're a boy and super annoying. Don't you dare do this another time or else I will embarrass you in front of the whole class?" Said Tomioka

Tanjiro was very devastated and went his way to the dorm.

"Tanjiro what happened" Asked Yushiro

"I-I just want to sleep. Tomioka san hasn't come right?" Said Tanjiro

"He did come but then he left saying he has to do some research work to do with Shinobu san." Said Yushiro

Tanjiro nodded and slept on the bed." Did this Tomioka do something again? If he did something I might just complain to the council to change his room." Said Yushiro

Tomioka POV

I was harsh on him. He deserves someone better but not Haruto. Tanjiro is too naive and can easily fall in love with anyone. W-What should I do? I wish I could just say "Hey Tanjiro I love you. Everything you do for me just makes me wanna kiss you so bad but what should I do. You are the most beautiful man I have ever seen. Your dark red eyes are so beautiful that I can't even have even guts to look you in the eye. Be my boyfriend already so I can see you every day. Tomioka didn't go and decided to sit for a while. "Hey, can you get me some simmered salmon with daikon.". He ordered some food as he didn't eat his lunch. Haruto is lucky that I didn't beat the shit out of him. I don't know why but he deleted the posts. Finally, the Vacation has started, I will be visiting my sister. Shinobu decided to do the written work and I will do the designing part. The best part is that we will be going on a beach trip. I think she won the lottery. It is like a combined vacation with some random stranger. I don't care, I just need a peaceful place to rest after all the bullshit that had happened. "So I have good news and a bad one."

"Okay, Master Urokodaki will not be coming but the good news is that we will be going to a beach. I bought it but it's like public travel."

"It's okay he must be busy. But seriously I'm not in the mood for a vacation." Said Tanjiro

"DO EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH IT COST ME. I HAD TO STAY IN THE LINE FOR 6 HOURS."

"Fine when are we going?" Said Tanjiro

"Tomorrow. I was going to give you a surprise but you don't seem to like it."

"I-its not like that okay? I'm coming with you. Nezuko you can take the shower first then I will make us some food." Said Tanjiro

Phew, This vacation might not be that bad. We both can spend some time together. I need to clear my mind. (Also the reason Tanjiro lived in the dorm was that the house was far.)

Nezuko and Tanjiro pretty much talked about random things.

"So onii chan how are things with Tomioka?"

"W-well it's fine. We just got into an argument recently." Said Tanjiro

"Oh I'm so sorry, Hope things get sorted out."

Nezuko had seen Zenitsu many times so she knew about him. Both of them had a lovely time having dinner together.

"Good night and make sure to wake up early onii chan. We have to walk a lot to the bus stop."

"Okay! Sweet dreams." Said Tanjiro

Both of them went to their rooms.

"WAKE UP ONII CHAN, WERE LATE" Shouted Nezuko

Nezuko woke up way early in excitement. Whereas Tanjiro is still sleeping, They had to wake up at 4 am. Both of them got ready and went.

"You didn't even let me comb my hair Nezuko."

"It doesn't matter, You woke up late."

Both of them gave their tickets to the conductor and went to find a place to sit.

"Oh, we can't sit together." Said Nezuko

She turned towards a man wearing a cap,

"Excuse me, Can I sit here if you don't mind." Asked Nezuko

"Sure."

"Wait Nezuko you shouldn't sit with a man." WisperedTanjiro

Nezuko nodded and went to find another seat behind her asking the young lady. Tanjiro sets up his bag and takes out his sleeping mask.

"Why didn't you let that girl sit. I'm not evil though."

Tanjiro flinched as that guy had a similar voice to Tomioka.

"Uh I'm sorry but I'm just protective. She just came here so I don't want to take risks." Said Tanjiro

"Oh."

The bus started moving so Tanjiro placed his sleeping mask on his eyes.

There was some calming sound coming. It was the shore. It was so peaceful that everyone had a wonderful sleep. They finally reached.

"Hey wake up." *lifts his head and see's the person carefully.*

Tanjiro wakes up. That guy had removed his cap so now he was visible.

"T-tomioka san? Is it you." Asked Tanjiro

"Uh yeah. Your Tanjiro."*Akward*

"We meet again."

Both of them stared at each other for a while until Nezuko asked him to come. Tanjiro kept staring at Tomioka.

"What happened Onii chan, You seem a bit off." Said Nezuko

"It's nothing, I'm just restless."

"Okay. Your room is 215 and mine i-"

Nezuko was about to say until someone said.

"Nezuko what if we share rooms? I don't really like my brother." Asked Tsutako

"Oh, If you don't mind Onii chan?" Asked Nezuko

"Sure just tell me the room number but remember to be careful. People aren't great."

"Okay, Then I and Tsutako will go to room 201. Bye!" Said Nezuko

Tanjiro waved to them and went to find room 215. He wondered "Who is that girl's brother."(Tsutako didn't visit Tomioka often so Tanjiro didn't know about her.) He carefully knocked on the door.

"It's open" Shouted Tomioka

"Huh? Your Tsutako's brother Tomioka san?"

"Yeah, but why are your here?"

Tanjiro was a taken aback after what Tomioka said.

"Well, my sister and your sister will be sharing a room."

"That's good. I was so sick of that stupid girl who would just cling around me and act like my mother. I bet the same is with your sister."

"YOU SHOULDN'T SAY THAT. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOUR SO RUDE TO EVERYONE."

Tanjiro entered and threw his suitcase and went to the other bed. He was pissed."This time Tomioka said something about his sister too. I wonder what the hell is wrong with him. I could tolerate him before but now it sounds stupid." Thought Tanjiro. Tomioka rolled his eyes and took out a book and started reading it. He did have some guilt about saying something unessacry. Truth is that both his parents died from an accident so they don't have parents. Tsutako earns the money for the things. He is grateful for his sister but he acts like he doesn't like her. They both have had many fights.

〜Time skip to dinner

Tanjiro POV

I did lose my cool but I must enjoy this vacation. "It's almost time for dinner, Are you coming Tomioka san?" I asked. "Yeah, I will come in a while."

"Okay, But the dinner is only till 10 pm so come fast," I shouted

I am hungry so I wouldn't wait for him. I took the elevator and ran towards the restaurant.

"Onii chan, Come here."

"Yeah."

I saw Tsutako sitting next to Nezuko. They seem to be good friends.

"Hey, Tanjiro do you know when my brother is coming?" Asked Tsutako

"He said he will be coming soon."

We were waiting for him to come.

"Nee-san, Can I sit somewhere else?" Asked Tomioka

"Why? We are here to spend time. Sit here"

Why doesn't he want to sit? It is because of what happened but he should have forgotten it. I don't think I did anything wrong, So why am I feeling this guilt?

"So which academy do you guys go on?" Asked Tsutako

"Onii chan goes to the Japanese Academy and I stay in our hometown." Said Nezuko

"Oh, Tomioka also goes to the Japanese academy. Have you guys seen each other?" Asked Tsutako

"Yeah. I have seen him sometimes." Replied Tomioka

Author POV

There was some awkward silence between them. tsusoko and Nezuko were talking but Tomioka and Tanjiro were staring at each other. "Why did this happen to me. I thought I will get a nice vacation but I guess no one can let me live peacefully." Thought Tomioka.

〜Time skip

"Bye guys have fun." Said Nezuko

"Bye and be safe Nezuko"

Tomioka didn't care and just went his own way.

"Tomioka san that's not the way to the room." Said Tanjiro

"Don't call me Tomioka san and I'm going for a walk."

Tanjiro didn't care and went his way, After all, he was tired of Tomioka acting this way. Tomioka went outside near the beach.

"It is so peaceful out here. *Sigh* I miss you mom and dad but I will make you proud one day." Said Tomioka

He was enjoying the view.
