Mom Would Not Marry You

MAINLAND CITY, M COUNTRY

"Hey, dad! Where are the boys?" Violet queried, looking around the patio and pool area. "Mom and granny are waiting. Aren't we leaving yet?"

"I asked Kurt to fetch them in the Simulation Room. The aircraft is ready…."

Answered her dad, who cast a glance to smile at her. The older man was occupied reading a report, so she didn't ask further but glanced at the extension building.

The game room was on the second floor, and the boys spent most of their time there when there were no classes. Grateful that they had an underground library, the noise could not bother her.

"I see…" Violet nodded. She was about to sit on the sofa across from her dad when she noticed Victor was staring at the portraits hanging on the grand staircase. She blushed when Victor's eyes gazed at a particular one.

She went inside the mansion and approached him. "Hey! How's it going?"
