Torn between two choices, Alita bashfully leaned forward again and dropped another kiss on Axel's cheek.
When she pulled back, her face was flushed red from embarrassment. Where she got the boldness to do what she just did was still unknown to her.
"That makes it two." She uttered, her voice a half-whisper. She looked away from him as her gaze moved aimlessly around the room.
Axel beamed at her action. He didn't expect that she would be bold enough to kiss him again. He had observed from her reaction the first time that she didn't mean to kiss him.
Her sudden boldness was highly unanticipated, however, he loved this newfound attitude. If only she had been like this before now... But he couldn't complain. This was an improvement, one he sure was going to take advantage of.
He suddenly stood up, and this time, she wasn't bold enough to stand her ground due to the mortification coursing through her as a result of her action.
