"Where were you when the green monster attacked? I don't remember seeing any one of you rushing down here when it happened."

Silence descended on the throne room once more, but didn't last long before Samuel answered.

"We came here when that happened, your highness. And we heard how that problem was dealt with. However, when we asked after you, we were told you had returned to the city."

"Interesting. I hope he told you that he was the mastermind behind the creation of that monster, and apologized for the multiple lives lost as a result of that rampage."

Immediately the question dropped from axels lips, surprise registered on the faces of the kingmakers.

"That's what I thought." Axel huffed lightly. "I wonder which cooked-up lie he delivered to you as the reason why that monster exists, or where it came from."

"Prince Axel, are you sure about what you are saying? This is a serious allegation against the king. If you are merely assuming—"
