Real target

  From their backs, the orc and the goblin took out a club and a longsword. They looked quite similar to the weapons that the spearmen used. Naturally, they were bigger since those three were a lot stronger than grunts. As for the flying skeleton, he didn't have a magic weapon, but Jake saw lightning spheres emerging from his hands. 

  At the exact moment those two charged, the skeleton fired a lightning bolt toward Jake, and while he used Flash to dodge it, the spell followed him as if it was a missile tracking his presence. Eventually, it reached Jake, but he blocked it with his sword.

  The goblin and the work used that chance to attack Jake since he was paralyzed by the energy flowing through the weapon. He erected a wall of dark flames since he didn't have room to worry about his pride, but the weapons passed through it… their durability was too high for them to melt that fast.
