Chapter 9: Conflict

Inside the Royal Suite of a centrally located five-star luxury hotel, it appeared that two men were sitting and reading some documents with serious expressions. But the look in his eyes turned cold with the night view of Shanghai in the background.

"What do you think..."

NAKROP's voice asked KAVIN, who was reading the document thoughtfully. But just for a moment, a sly smile appeared on KAVIN's face.

"I feel that those venomous dinosaurs got a lot of business connection not only our business competitors but also influential soldiers. So, the previous company went bankrupt because there was a huge leech sucking blood behind it…Huh-- that's bastards!"

KAVIN threw the stack of papers on the table before leaning against the sofa. Put his hands on the backrest in a comfortable posture while resting his head with his eyes closed for a moment. Then he returned to sit cross-legged, putting hands together in front and staring at the secret document he had just read a moment ago, his eyes as sharp as a serpent staring at his prey. The sly smile suddenly turned into a cold smile.

"Well...I'll make it known that how is a real venomous snake?"

When NAKROP saw KAVIN's confident expression, he immediately smiled. Because he knew very well what this guy was thinking and planning usually almost a hundred percent successful.

"Um— but it seems like there are quite a lot of them."

NAKROP's calm voice said as he picked up another set of documents and looked at it. KAVIN heard so instead of being troubling. Instead, he grinned widely.

"Do you know the difference between a net and a hook?"

"......"

"The hook usually catches one fish at a time..."

NAKROP smiled but didn't answer because he already knew what KAVIN would say next. All he had to do was slowly sow the bait, and the rest he left to KAVIN sowed the net caught all the fish at once. It looked like their five-year effort was almost succeeded.

In Thailand at the same time--

At one of the luxury VIP clubrooms in the center of Krung Thep, the atmosphere in the room was dimly lit. The furniture decorated in this room was luxurious. Inside the room, there was a pool table next to it, which was now surrounded by more than ten men and women playing pool and drinking.

Another corner was a large luxury sofa with a large TV screen projecting lived music from the second floor with loud music as if bringing a concert set in front of you with good quality audio equipment.

Each seat of the sofa was held by four middle-aged men with girls in sexy outfits flanked on either side who were pouring drinks and pampering nearby. Those girls had duties to do everything that made their customers could rejoice. Despite his old age, his lust remained.

"I haven't seen NAKROP and KAVIN lately at all."

A voice of a man in his late forties, who seemed to be the youngest among them, spoke up with the amber drink in his hand.

"Huh— that jerk must be busy with the troubles in Shanghai, Ha-ha-ha. Think too cocky with me, they must meet like this."

Another man said with a sneering smile while turning to tease and flirt with the girl sitting next to him was in a good mood.

"Good— keep it's messing up. We will continue to carry out our plans."

A man who seemed to be the oldest among them spoke as he sipped the wine with a powerful gesture.

"About the hundred million value projects that will be auctioned, what do you want me to do next, General."

A man who had been sitting quietly for a long time turned and asked the oldest man who looked influential, it also has a high rank. Even though his age was almost sixty, his figure still looked strong.

"Do the same"

After the oldest man answered, all of them smiled and laughed and drank drinks that the girls poured for them happily.

A few days later--

PARAMEE walked into the school with a serious expression on her face since early in the morning which is a rare sight for CHOMTAP. He hurriedly walked closer and asked.

"What's wrong? Why are you making that face?"

CHOMTAP's voice was worried. Causing PARAMEE to sigh and turn to answer him with an anxious expression.

"I.... still can't find a place to arrange an appointment to study together. It's tomorrow too...Ah— There's a lot of work, so little time."

PARAMEE complained and showed an overacting reaction causing CHOMTAP who saw this smile immediately.

"You can use my house…because there is no one there anyway."

He proposed with a sad tone. Hearing this, PARAMEE was stunned as she turned to look at him who gave her a sad smile. And she understood that feeling well.

'You must be… very lonely, CHOMTAP.'

PARAMEE smiled broadly at him in a good mood.

"Well, that's good… but… I don't know where your house is."

"Um, I can… pick you up at your address and go together..."

As he spoke, his face turned slightly red.

"I think it will be better if I wait for you at the school. Because you don't even know my address, right? So, we should meet here."

But when CHOMTAP heard what PARAMEE had said, he paused, and his facial expression slightly changed. The image he had imagined for a moment had vanished in the blink of an eye.

"Ah- uh…"

"Um- then agree to this. Thank you, CHOMTAP. See you tomorrow."

Then PARAMEE slapped on CHOMTAP's shoulder twice before walking into the guidance room in a good mood, leaving him standing in stunning.

CHOMTAP walked to his classroom with a look of disappointment.
