Wish To See Little Dragons

When Draven let go of Ember, the starry sky stretched above their heads. Both of them sat by the spring, where Ember was wrapped in a blanket, and Draven wore his magical hide wrapped around his waist. He had formed a magic shield around them to protect them from the cold.

Though a dragon could withstand cold, his mate could not—especially when she was fire, the exact opposite of cold.

"The sky looks so close from here," she commented, gazing up. "As if I could raise my hand and just touch it. Though it's not a full moon yet, it looks so big. I wonder how it would be when there's a full moon."

"I would bring you here on the night of the full moon," Draven said.

Ember looked at him, narrowing her eyes. "On the night of the full moon? I'm sure you'd eat me alive here inside this healing water spring."
