Max came back to the office as the man went out of our space. I looked at him and raised my eyebrows and he just shook his head: "Nothing, just work. I didn't fire him because of you!"

I chuckled. "Well, I'm happy about that. Let's continue that later at home."

"Yeah," He looked at me and smirked. "Anyway, I want you to have a rest for the next hour and a half and then we'll leave for the club. The party will go on till night so I don't think you'll be able to rest."

"I have to go for some work for now, baby," He said to me and kissed me on the cheeks. "You can stay here for the time being."

He left the office and I exhaled. I was all alone and free for the rest of the time which really made me start thinking about a lot of things—like Mr. Valencian.
