08 Headlock

In the huge training ground, more than two hundred newly recruits stood. Chinua noticed that there were ten people lined up in a row of twenty. She counted and she and her two guards were in line fifteen. Khunbish was standing in front of her and Khenbish was standing behind her. Moments later, Batzorig and his ten captains walked into the training ground.

Batzorig l looked at the recruits and said, "Everyone here is new. I want you to remember that the military rules are very strict. If you don't obey the military law, you will be punished by the military law. Because you are new here, you must familiarize yourself with our rules and regulations, please take a moment to review. Any questions you don't understand, please ask." He looked around at the new recruits. "In front of you are my ten captains. You can choose your own captain. Each captain can only have twenty recruits. When I count to one hundred, if you haven't chosen one, you will go with the captain who has fewer recruits."

"I heard that the best captains are captain Chenghiz and Dawa."

"I heard that captain Arban is very strict, don't go there."

As soon as Batzorig counted, everyone rushed towards captains Chenghiz and Dawa.

Khenbish said, "Chinua, my last captain was Dawa."

Khunbish said, "My captain was Chenghiz."

Chinua said, "They have more than twenty recruits." Chinua looked at a captain sitting on the ground, with no new recruit in his line. "Khunbish."

Khunbish said, "Yes, Chinua."

Chinua asked, "Why didn't anyone choose that captain?"

Khunbish said, "Usually people don't choose him."

Chinua asked, "Why not?"

Khenbish said, "There are rumors that he's not Magoli. He's Tanggolian, so people won't choose him."

Chinua said, "Whatever blood is running in his veins, since he lives in Hmagol, he is a Magoli. He is willing to die to protect the citizens of Hmagol, he deserves the same respect as everyone else." She looked at Khenbish. "What's his name?"

Khenbish said, "Captain Haitao Fen."

Chinua murmured, "Haitao Fen..." Chinua stared at Haitao for a moment, then walked straight to Haitao.

Haitao leaned on the deck, arched his body back, and closed his eyes to enjoy the evening sun. When shade blocks the sun. He opened his eyes and stared at Chinua. He stretched and stood up. He yawned and saw not one but three standing in front of him.

Haitao finds it funny that this is the first time someone really chooses him instead of getting the left over from the other captains. He stood up and faced Chinua, Khenbish, and Khunbish. He smiled and asked, "Are you guys sure you are not mistaken line?"

Chinua said, "We are not mistaken line."

Batzorig counted to one hundred. There are only three people in Haitao's team. There are too many recruits on the other captains' line, so the captains walked down the line and picked those they wanted to be their subordinates.

Batzorig pointed to Timicin and said, "You go to that line." He pointed to Haitao.

Timicin stepped forward and said, "But I have already chosen Captain Dawa, and I don't want to go there."

Batzorig said, "You go there, it's an order."

Timicin frantically walked towards Haitao. After a long time, five more unwelcome recruits from the other captains walked behind Timicin. The only captain with the fewest recruits was Haitao, who only had nine, while the other captains had twenty recruits.

Haitao looked at his nine subordinates and said, "Go set up your tent. There are nine of you, so you don't need to share a tent." He pointed at Timicin and Chinua. "You two make dinner tonight. Remember to get our share of the grain before they close the window, or we don't have food tonight."

After setting up the tent with the help of Khenbish and Khunbish, Chinua and Timicin went to the ration distribution room. The soldier at the window asked which unit they were from.

Timicin said unhappily, "Captain Haitao."

The soldier by the window said in surprise, "In the past few years, Captain Haitao has no newcomer." He looked at Timicin. "How many people?"

Timicin frowned annoyingly, "Nine."

The window soldier said, "Nine, that's good." He fetched six pitchers of rice and poured it into the bag in Timicin's hand. "Usually none, or one or two."

Chinua asked the window soldier, "Why?"

The window soldier said, "Because no one wants to be his subordinate. He can't teach anything except to take his subordinates to go fishing and sightseeing. Many people he trains are idiots, and the most important thing is that many people don't want to be his subordinates, because he is not a true Magoli ."

Chinua said, "He fought for Hmagol, he lives in Hmagol, how can you say he's not a true Magoli?" She grabbed the vegetables and the two chickens from the window counter. "Tell me... soldier, what is a true Magoli ?"

The soldier outside the window became irritable and said, "A true Magoli must be of Magoli's blood."

Chinua said indifferently, "You are wrong, a true Magoli is a person who stands on the border of Hmagol and uses his body to protect Magoli. A true Magoli is a person driving away the enemy invaders with his sword." She walked away, with the vegetables and the two chickens. "Blood is just red, it doesn't represent who we really are."

Timicin quickly caught up with Chinua. He shouted behind her, "Hey, why are you speaking for Captain Haitao, don't you think it's too much?"

Chinua turned around and said, "I'm right. To be honest, Captain Haitao, he doesn't have to put up with everyone's gossip, but he chose to ignore it." She stared at Timicin. "Only the wise can surpass the ill words of idiots."

Timicin sneered and said frantically, "You should protect your own people, not others."

Chinua said angrily, "The people who live in Hmagol are all my people." She looked at Timicin, who was handsomer and smarter than the average Magoli. She was disappointed that Timicin, the son of a prominent ministers such as Minister Eisen, held such a narrow view. She sighed. "To change an opinion without a mental process is the mark of the uneducated." She turned and began to leave Timicin behind.

Timicin, tired of Haitao's situation, threw the rice bag in his hand to Chinua. Chinua turned quickly and kicked the bag of rice to the ground. White rice grains spilled all over the ground. Timicin rushed forward, an angry fist aimed at Chinua. Chinua threw the vegetables on the ground, blocked Timicin's fist with her left hand, and swung her right hand at Timicin's head, holding two dead chickens in her hand. Timicin dodged Chinua's attack and quickly grabbed Chinua's waist. He locked his hands tightly together and began to squeeze Chinua's waist as hard as he could.

Chinua tries to break free of Timicin's restraints, but she is locked too tightly. She grabbed Timicin's thumb and began to bend back. With this movement, Timicin snorted in pain and let go of his grip on Chinua's waist. Chinua turned quickly to block Timicin's kick. She threw herself forward, and Timicin fell back to the ground. Chinua rolls over Timicin and wraps her arms around Timicin's neck; she locks Timicin's neck with her right arm.

Timicin's head was locked, and he couldn't break free, and he knelt on the ground on his hands and knees, trying to grab Chinua's legs. The more he struggled, the tighter Chinua's arm squeeze became. He gasped, his vision blurred, and he couldn't see where Chinua's legs were.

With her arms still tightly clasped on Timicin's neck, Chinua turned around and swayed from side to side on the rice grains and vegetables on the ground, making Timicin lose his sense of direction.

After waiting for a long time, Khunbish saw some people rush towards a large group of surrounded people. Khunbish grabbed the arm of one of the men and asked, "What happened over there?"

Muunokhoi said, "I don't know I just got here. Can you help me find where Captain Haitao's recruits are pitching their tent?"

"You can put it anywhere here," Khunbish said, pointing to the ground around Muunokhoi.

Muunokhoi said, "Thank you, ancestors."

Kenbish stopped another soldier and asked, "What happened over there?"

The man said, "Timicin is fighting that sissy Chinua. Everyone is betting that Timicin will win."

Khenbish stood up, "Chinua!"

Khunbish and Khenbish rushed towards the surrounded group and reached the front of the circle. They saw Chinua put Timicin in the head lock position, and they knew Chinua would win the round unless Timicin figured out how to pull himself out of the head lock position.

The recruits on the side cheered loudly as they watched the battle between Chinua and Timicin. They quickly formed a circle and started betting on who would win.

"Timicin! Break free!"

"Break his fingers and get out of that locked position!"

Timicin is still trying to figure out how to get out of the headlock position, but at the same time he can't believe he's actually losing to a sissy man. He didn't think Chinua was that strong until Chinua fixed his head in the locked position. The more he tried to grab Chinua's leg, the more Chinua shook his hands off quickly. The more Chinua swung him back and forth, the dizzier he became.

"Escape! Come on!"

Timicin grabbed Chinua by the waist and pushed her down to the ground. Chinua quickly jumped onto Timicin's back, her legs wrapped around Timicin's waist, but her arms remained tightly locked around Timicin's neck. Timicin tried to elbow Chinua in the ribs, but he missed, and his elbow hit the ground. He then started hitting Chinua's left thigh while his right hand tried to free Chinua's arm from his neck.

"Come on, man, you can't lose to this sissy man."

"You're strong, Timicin..."

"Hit him! Hit him! I bet all my monthly income on you, come on!"
