Don't Ask The Impossible of Me

[RANIA]

Dalrae had a lot of questions, and Rania had been expecting them. But some of those questions were linked to a time-ticking bomb, one that could go off at any time and frankly, Rania didn't have the strength to deal with all of that right now.

"You tricked my wolf into healing me," Rania said when realization dawned on her that she wasn't feeling any pain. It was crazy, but then she couldn't deny the kind of impact Dalrae had on her. It was just something that she couldn't fight anymore anyway.

"Who is your true mate, Rani?" Dalrae asked and suddenly, Rania gently pulled Dalrae from the hug, and looked at her face which was well-lit by the moonlight.

She could see the crease her sister had gotten for worrying too much about her, and she knew it would only worry her more if Dalrae knew more than she already knew.

Rania knew Dalrae would find Paloma and try to figure out the truth. However, it seemed like that was a truth that Kim Rania wasn't willing to take today.
