WHY IS IT HARD TO HAVE TEA WITH YOU?

VAUGHN smiled while looking at the murderous look on Marquis Hendrix Rochester's face.

The marquis obviously wanted to kill him, right there and right now.

And that was understandable.

[The marquis has bowed his head down to me for the past seven years. Now that his real daughter has returned home, his patience is probably running out. But I can't die here. Not yet, at least.]

"Hear me out, my lord," Vaughn said, laughing softly to brighten up the mood. "Why don't you sit down first and have tea with me?"

The bloodlust oozing out from the marquis only thickened even more.

Moreover, he could feel the presence of his knights from outside the door and the windows. He was pretty sure the knights would attack him as soon as the marquis made a move. Although he was confident that he could get rid of them easily, he didn't want to shed blood today.

He was here to offer a business proposal, after all.

"My lord, Zoanne Rochester is married to the Demon King."
