Heavy Snow

Lucas ran his hand through his hair. He had almost lost his control. Being that close to Eva was intoxicating.

He took a deep breath. He had traveled pretty far from their current campsite.

'What is wrong with me?'

Did he need to climb into her bedroll? At the time it seemed like the right thing to do. Then he fell asleep.

The realization that he had fallen asleep was quickly forgotten as he was captured by her light blue eyes.

He had instinctively pulled her closer. It was like a dream. Then her eyes widened and she hid her face into his chest.

It reminded him of a small rabbit. This was definitely not a dream. Yet he couldn't stop the desire in his heart to stay close to her.

When she hid her face like that, it only brought her closer to him. He found himself closing his eyes and leaned in to imprint this feeling into his memory.
