Anit-virus,

Iyare's eyes were fixed on the screen while her hands moved swiftly around the laptop. Honestly, she was a little surprised that she remembered everything. She had a slight smile on the corner of her lips when she noticed that the virus looked familiar. So she could use the anti-virus already installed in the system to clear the virus that attacks it.

She mentally pats her shoulder and praises herself, remembering that Amina would have done the same if she had been present. Thinking of Amina, Iyare realised that she missed the only friend she ever had.

She wondered where Amina would be currently. Did she already forget all about her? Or she also heard of her death, Iyare wonder.

Iyare was the one who caught all communication with Amina when she had to drop out of college. She did not want to see the pity in Amina's eyes when she was looking at her. Iyare usually read and practised all Amina had taught her, even after she dropped out of school. Her laptop became her best friend since that was what her friend loved the most.

She spent most of her free time writing codes, especially at night. Sometimes she even hacked into the security system just like she did with Amina.

Maybe it was time she looked for Amina; the girl may be handy to the IT unit of the company. She was grateful that whoever sent the virus did not mean to cause a lot of damage; otherwise, she feared the company would have been in serious trouble.

Iyare took a deep breath and made up her mind to contact Amina; what she was yet to decide on was if she should tell her; she was the one. Pushing the thought of Amina out of her mind Iyare took another sharp breath before raising her head from the laptop, only to meet the eyes of everyone else in the room looking at her. The surprise was evident in their eyes.

Iyare passed the laptop back to Fred without saying anything. Fred immediately took a look at what she had been doing, and to his surprise, she solved the issue. His jaw dropped open; how did she manage to solve the virus so fast too? He looked at his wristwatch and realised it had been an hour, thirty minutes since Iyare collected the laptop. He blinked his eyes before rechecking it, but there was nothing. He wanted to ask her how she did it.

The entire ICT unit has been trying to resolve this problem for the past four hours. "I could not trace the sender; the person seemed to have cleared up properly," he heard Iyare's voice. Fred nodded, surprised that she even tried to trace the sender. He swallowed the question he was about to ask, feeling embarrassed and immediately got up from his seat.

How could he ask her that? When he considered himself an expert. His pride was severely hurt by her casual approach to solving the problem as if it was nothing.

What he did not know was that Iyare's friend taught her how to create and send this kind of virus. So it was pretty easy for her to find her way around it.

"I will go check if there are any damages. Excuse me, ma," Fred said and walked out of the room without waiting for Iyare's response. He did not even remember that he had come in with Dave.

"I want a report on how much the company lost during this stand still and all the damages down in detail before the end of work today," Iyare instructed Dave, sitting opposite her.

"Yes, ma," Dave replied, getting up from his chair and leaving her office. He did not inform her about the present situation earlier because he never believed she could solve it. To him, she was just an illegitimate child who inherited her father's wealth.

He heard the board members complaining that she had zero knowledge about running a company, so when he noticed the problem this morning, he immediately called four shareholders he was familiar with to inform them

He must confess his face is hurting from the slap he just received for underestimating her.

Shelley, who was sitting down on the couch on the other side of the office, got up and walked over to her. Her boss once again showed another talent. She wondered what other talent her Boss could have. Too bad ever information about her before she arrived in County Ua could not be found.

'I guess I will wait and uncover all the mystery around her,' Shelley told herself mentally. When she took this job, her family thought it was stupid. How could she leave the position of a director in her family's company only to become an assistant?

Shelley made this decision not just because of the mystery around the father and daughter but because she did not want to wake up every day with her failure staring at her in the face. She could not do that. Call her stupid, but she was proud of making this decision. She knew Iyare knew nothing about running a company, but she was willing to share all her knowledge. After all, she was trained right from childhood to run her family's company. Unfortunately, she lost the CEO seat to her cousin.

She was yet to come to terms with this failure. If only she.....

"I want you to arrange for a staff meeting. I should meet everyone important to the company," Iyare's voice cut into Shelley's thought.

"Okay, I also received news while you were working that four board members sold all their stocks and withdrew their funds," Shelley informed her.

Iyare nodded her head. She already expected this to happen. So she prepared ahead. Selling off some of the landed properties she inherent to buy back any shares. "Did you buy back the shares?"

"Yes, ma," Shelley affirmed.

"Which of the board members sold off their Shares?" Iyare asked.

Shelley passed her the tablet in her hands. Iyare looked at the four men and smiled. They had minor shares in the company, so it was no big deal.

"Do you plan to discuss anything specific in the staff meeting?" Shelley asked since she would have to prepare an agenda.

"Yes, I want to know about the monthly report and update on all our projects," Iyare replied.

Shelley smiled to herself; it seems her boss is a fast learner. "I will carry out an investigation about the project currently under the company so you can get familiar with them," Shelley commented.

"Okay, thank you," Iyare replied. She knew that she would not be able to run the company without the help of Shelley. She wondered why an assistant would know so much about running a company. Iyare noticed that Shelley must have been trained to manage or run a company. She was curious about it, but she chose not to ask since there was nothing about it in her file.
