More Trouble Than He's Worth (Ch.126)

"My King...you should feed." Jodi said, pouring out a goblet of blood and handing it to a meditating Kelevi.

Kelevi's eyes fluttered open slowly and he passed Jodi a glance before he took the goblet, tilting his head back, he downed the contents, a low hiss escaping his lips.

Kelevi's eyes glowed and he took in a deep breath to calm his predator who had risen to the surface.

"You deny yourself of nourishment and your predator is growing restless, there is only so much this can do for you...you need to let your predator out for a hunt." Jodi said in a worried tone.

Kelevi's mind flashed back to how his last hunt had fared and he shook his head.

"I will be fine." Kelevi said as he handed the goblet back to Jodi.

"I do not like this..." Jodi grumbled as he offered Kelevi a clean towel to wipe his lips.
