A Friend (Ch.134)

Flin's eyes were wide and he hesitated for just a moment as the memories of his deceased son and wife filled his mind and his rage surged once again.

Rage... it was a powerful emotion and a great motivation, it was always a determining factor when Minmayor executed his plans.

Resentment was good and so was despair, but rage was one factor Minmayor would never ignore.

If one resented yet held only resentment and no anger at the injustice done, then such a human was not worth Minmayor's attention.

Why? Because rage made the unyielding will of humans stirred up, and human will was their most powerful ability... so long as they had the will, there was nothing they could not achieve.

And so long as they were unwilling, even Minmayor himself was helpless against them...it was a strength even a greater demon could not easily overcome.
