Truth Or Dare

Chaeyoung walked inside the JYP building after being called by Park Jinyoung himself. She headed towards his office hoping that the only thing he's going to tell her would be cancelling the collaboration. Chaeyoung walked in with her usual bright smile greeting her PD and bowing to him.

"PD-nim" Chaeyoung called.

"Ah, Chaeyoung-ah. How are you doing?" Jinyoung asked.

"I'm doing great"

"Excited for the stage?" He asked.

"Well typically I'd say of course but deep inside I don't like the sound of it" Chaeyoung confessed.

"What? Why?"

"I don't like working with that person" she said.

"That person? You were over the moon when you heard about it"

"Not until I knew it's him" Chaeyoung said "I mean he's rude and full of himself. He's a bad influence for me"

"How can you say all of this about him when you don't even know him?" He asked.

"PD-nim! He called desperate just because I was very happy being offered this collab"

"So you were throwing shades in your last speech?"

"Yes, I just couldn't let it go" she complained.

"Listen to me Chaeyoung-ah" Jinyoung said "it's about time he arrives here. You start working with him and if something bothers you, just let me know, I'll handle it"

"Okay" Chaeyoung said as she bowed and left the office. Even though she was annoyed by the fact that she still has to work with him, she was somehow happy that jyp is siding with her. She was walking across the hall heading to the practice room when she met a familiar figure walking in confidently.

"The practice room is on the tenth floor, follow me" Chaeyoung said to Suga who had just arrived.

"Good morning to you too, Chaeyoung-sshi" Suga teased.

"Don't act cool with me. We're not friends" Chaeyoung felt irritated.

"I can't believe you're still holding a grudge against me over something ridiculous"  Suga said.

"Please stop talking. It makes you even worse everytime" Chaeyoung pulled her hair by dint of being angry "you think people's pride is something ridiculous?"

"Why do you analyse every single word I say and make it look bad" Suga talked seriously.

"Because you have no manners, you're rude and disrespectful. Is that convincing?" Chaeyoung attacked him "I wonder how you get along with your members"

"I got scolded for being rude" Yoongi confessed "they knew about our conversation that day and I got scolded"

"See? You're one of the oldest members but you got scolded by youngsters" Chaeyoung chuckled "not only that but you keep acting rude to me"

"Okay fine, I'm sorry" Suga rolled his eyes.

"I hate it when people apologise to me" Chaeyoung got confused "stop it and follow me. We have a rehearsal to do"

"Roger"

Yoongi followed Chaeyoung inside where a lot of backup dancers were waiting. They gathered around to plan their performance along with the dancers. They agreed that Chaeyoung is going to feature Suga in his song 'Seesaw' after that she's going to perform her cover of 'Alone' with Suga playing the piano. Suga started showing the dance moves of his song to Chaeyoung who was very quick retaining them. Since the choreography had a lot of feet moves, Chaeyoung found some difficulties learning them. She seemed unable to move well which grabbed everyone's attention in the room. At some point, Chaeyoung was no longer able to move at all. She suddenly stopped moving and froze unable to budge anymore.

"Chaeyoung-ah, are you okay?" One of the back up dancers said.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just need some rest" Chaeyoung panted as she held her leg.

"This is unlike you" the dancer said "we have just started"

"I'm sorry, I'll be back in a minute" Chaeyoung said as she headed outside.

Suga was surprised by Chaeyoung's sudden collapse. He had never seen someone getting tired in a matter of minutes especially for someone with Chaeyoung's energy. He thought that there had to be something wrong with her so he followed her outside thinking he might be able to help.

"Chaeyoung-sshi" Yoongi called as he approached her "is everything okay?"

"Your choreography is a mess" Chaeyoung complained still panting.

"You had trouble learning it?" He asked "you know we can change it if you want"

"We should" she nodded "otherwise this leg of mine will kill me from pain"

"Your leg is hurt?" He asked.

"N ... No, who said anything about my leg being hurt?" Chaeyoung got confused.

"You just did"

"I was just saying, because there are a lot of feet moves" Chaeyoung explained.

"Chaeyoung-sshi" Suga called her name in a serious tone "we're about the same level when it comes to dancing, why is it difficult for only you?"

"What are you hinting at?" Chaeyoung felt offended.

"I'm just saying if there's a problem with your leg just tell me and we will change the choreography to make it fit"

"Nothing is wrong with my leg, I'm not Jennie or something" Chaeyoung smirked.

"Jennie?"

"Yep... Isn't she your life saver?" Chaeyoung asked jokingly "she performed with a hurt leg"

"You believed that too"

"Why not?" Chaeyoung asked.

"She went through surgery and she performed a day after? Who could believe such a nonsense"

"Maybe it wasn't that serious" Chaeyoung hypothesised.

"Chaeyoung-sshi" Suga called "why are you making excuses? Do you, by any chance, happen to know something about it"

"Ab... about what?" Chaeyoung got confused.

"About the real person who saved me"

"I only know that it's Jennie" Chaeyoung insisted.

"It's not"

"How can you be so positive?" Chaeyoung asked.

"I just know it" Suga frowned "I know everything ... I knew I was going to be involved in that accident and I knew that someone would save my life. That's why I never believed Jennie"

"Why didn't you believe her?"

"I kind of saw the person who saved me" Suga admitted.

"How?" Chaeyoung asked with a scared look.

"There was that dream that kept chasing me a couple of weeks ago. I keep seeing it everyday and every detail about that dream happens in my real life"

"Woah, I only see this in movies" Chaeyoung felt goose bumps.

"That's why I mistook you for someone else the other day" Suga confessed "the girl that I saw in my dream looks exactly like you from the back"

"I hope you find that person one day" Chaeyoung smiled.

"Even though I don't know her, I feel like she means a lot to me" Suga said.

"Oh no she doesn't" Chaeyoung muttered with a low voice then said out loud "if you happen to accidentally bump into her, would you feel her presence. I mean can you tell that it's her?"

"I think I can feel it" Suga confirmed "that's why I said I never hated collaborating with you, because you remind me of her"

"Anyway, I don't wish to stay close to you once we finish this" Chaeyoung flinched.

"Why not?"

"We're enemies, remember?" Chaeyoung said "you were rude to me and Rosé"

"Ah! Talking about Rosé" Suga remembered something "why was she the only one at the hospital the day of the accident?"

"She said she was the last one Jennie called that day so they called her from the hospital"

"And she came without the other members?"  Suga felt suspicious "why didn't they come too?"
