Zehara’s surprise

Seo Jun stretches as he wakes in the early morning light. Enjoying the quiet moment to watch his wife sleep. Placing his palm over her stomach Seo Jun wonders if they made a child the night before. Hearing a noise outside of the tent Seo Jun grabs a robe from beside the bed. Slipping from the tent he goes to check. He sees the guide from the night before setting up a breakfast table. As the sun lights across the water a rainbow appears over the falls.

"It's beautiful in the morning isn't it?" Zehara says as she enters the clearing.

"Yes it is. Jasmine is still sleeping would you like me to wake her?" Seo Jun asks Zehara.

"I will do it since the rainbow is part of her surprise." Zehara walks past Seo Jun to enter the tent.

"Hey sleepyhead, wake up or your going to miss the first part of your surprise. Come on get up." Zehara teases Jasmine awake with a gentle breeze across her face. Jasmine smiles as she wakes surprised that it is Zehara waking her.

"Where is Seo Jun ?" Jasmine asks.

"He is dressing in the other room of the tent. Come get your robe on before you miss the first part of your surprise." Zehara holds up the robe for Jasmine. Once covered Zehara opens the flap of the tent to show Jasmine her surprise. Jasmine catches her breath at the rainbow thst nearly covers the lagoon and waterfall. The droplets of water shinning like diamonds in the sunlight.

"Oh my it's beautiful, is there a rainbow often here?" Jasmine asks Zehara.

"Every time true lovers mate here there is a rainbow to bless them. After breakfast and you both are dressed I will give you the other half of your gift." Zehara sits at the table and starts eating. Jasmine goes back inside the changing room of the tent to get dressed. Seo Jun is already dressed in new swim wear when she enters.

"So do we get to keep the clothes that was provided for this trip or do we leave them?" Seo Jun asks Jasmine.

"That I do not know I guess we will see once we are home." Jasmine answers as she puts on a one piece with a crochet cover up. The couple leave the tent to join Zehara for breakfast before their last day begins.

A little while later back on the beach Zehara hands each of them a necklace. Jasmine's eyes light up as soon as she sees it. It is a siren shaped necklace for transformation.

"Now once you put these on when you enter the water you will become a siren. These are for you to keep but you can only use it when no humans are around. If you are diving as long as it is not touching your skin you will not change. Jasmine this one is like your mothers. It has to be touching your bare skin for you to transform. " Zehara explains to them before she dives under the surface. Seo Jun and jasmine smile at each other before making sure the necklace is touching their skin. Diving beneath the clear water Seo Jun feels a new kind of energy run through his body . His legs fuse together and he can breathe without a oxygen tank. He watches Jasmine transform her white skins changes to a silver sheen just like his. Her eyes change to a more rounded shape with her pupil dilating adjusting to the water. Seo Jun looks down at himself and sees that he has the same sheen of silver on his skin the scales of his lower body are softer than his dragon scales.

"You are beautiful in every form it seems. Will I have to worry about a male siren wanting to take you?" Seo Jun teases his wife as Zehara fixes Jasmine's hair so it stays away from her face.

"They have all been told that you are my family and mated. That they cannot claim you." Zehara informs Seo Jun . The dolphins swim around the three of them wanting to play. Zehara shows them how to hold the fin on the dolphins back so not to hurt them as they ride. Seo Jun's joy in watching Jasmine enjoy herself with her cousin and her pets fills his heart. Seo Jun did not notice that he smiled constantly once they were in the water. Zehara motions for them to follow her deeper under the waves once they got accustomed to their new form. The water so clear they cannot even tell how deep the ocean floor is. Pointing to wreck about three miles from shore they go treasure hunting. Seo Jun being a dragon can sense precious stones and metals when they are near. The wreck is an old pirate ship by the looks of it. Swimming towards where he knows gold is Seo Jun's ears begin to ring. From beneath the sand a blue light twinkles in the shadows of the hull. Jasmine feels the draw of the pearl shard swimming towards it her ears begin to ring. Zehara notices that the two seem slightly disoriented and swims closer. Touching Jasmine's shoulder she can feel what Jasmine feels. Zehara takes Jasmine's hand guiding her to the blue light. Zehara summons a male siren to stay close to Seo Jun incase of trouble. Causing a small whirlpool Zehara uncovers the pearl shard. The light glows brighter as Jasmine gets closer.

Jasmine can feel the pull of the pearl shard her mind goes blank as she gets drawn towards it as if in a trance. Picking it up a blast of energy knocks her back a few feet. The ground beneath the wreck begins to rumble as long tentacles reach from below the sand. A tentacle wraps around Jasmine's waist pulling her under the ship. Zehara sends a blast of energy scattering the ship in pieces across the ocean floor. The tentacle flings Jasmine away releasing her. There is a large hole where the. Ship once was. Before Jasmine can get to Seo Jun a large squid emerges from the crevice. It's tentacles grabbing everyone that is close. Zehara tries to use her power to advert the squid but it's not responding. Zehara can feel that it has no will but to keep the shard. There is something blocking her from entering the mind of the squid.

"Jasmine there is something blocking my way I can't enter its mind ." Zehara tells Jasmine telepathically.

Jasmine remembers the story of her dad's brother who had a crystal in his brain that caused his transformation. It also was how the evil ones controlled him. Jasmine lays her hands on the tentacle holding her. Using her mind she sends a current of warm healing through the squid. She can see the crystal that is blocking Zehara's power. It is wedged in its beaked mouth. Jasmine knows that she has to release it to free the

creature.

"Zehara increase the energy wave one your end I will increase mine. When it releases you get Seo Jun as far away as you can. I know what is controlling him." Jasmine tells Zehara. Zehara sends a wave of electric energy through the squids body temporarily stunning it. Once free from its grasp Zehara rushes to Seo Jun who is immobilized from the pain in his head. Jasmine swims to the stunned creature seeing the crystal pulsating with energy she blasts it with a small shot of energy. Seeing it move Jasmine smiles as she sends soothing energy through the creature keeping it calm as she removes the crystal. Once the crystal is gone the creature begins to change drastically. It's not a squid at all but a small siren child. Her silver skin pale almost as if she is dying. Her eyes are much like Xiangin. Jasmine screams in her mind.

"GiGi we need you now!!!" Jasmine can feel the tears welling up choking her as she watches the child sink to the ocean floor. A whirlpool swirls about them as GiGi opened a portal. Seeing the child she gasps and swims to the child's side picking her up from the floor.

"My sweet baby how did this happen to you?" GiGi holds the child gently soothing her trying to hold back her sadness.

The pearl shard flies out of Jasmine's hand to meld with its other parts around Seo Jun's neck. The light from the pearl encases everyone in its bubble this time. Inside the bubble it's dry as the shield around them is holding the water back. A small child of blue light is released from the shard walking towards the dying child.

"Mother siren it is not the child's fault. She was trapped by the now defeated evil one. In her grief of your supposed death he was able to curse her. She has guarded this place for many eons. Her job was to sink ships so he could have their souls. After a while she began to refuse to sink ships . Then when the shard fell here she guarded it thinking that it was in need of protecting. Her punishment for refusing to sink anymore ships was death. As long as the crystal was in place she could live now that it is removed she can pass peacefully." The child kisses the small siren on the forehead a blue light flows through her as the passes into her afterlife. GiGi looks at her list child sadly but then she sees the Father came to greet her child. Smiling GiGi watches as the father carries her child in his arms.
