The creator steps in

Seo Jun takes Seo Shin out to the garden before getting hit anymore. The two brothers sit under a blooming cherry tree; its fragrance fills the air, instantly relaxing Seo Jun.

"I guess you want some answers; ask me whatever you want I will answer. The only thing I ask is that you do not tell anyone anything ." Seo Jun tells Seo Shin, giving him a chance to calm down and get his frustration out.

"Ok, why are you here? The last I knew, you were in Greece angry with father." Seo Shin closes his eyes, listening to the water running from the nearby river.

"I was, I was drawn there by my mate. I went to find her. Father gave me thirty days, as you know. He is set on my destruction. The dragon who brought you here was sent to take my head. If my mate's family had not interceded, I would be dead. Father held his son and daughter-in-law prisoner. The woman is pregnant; I cannot blame City for trying to save his family. I can only blame my father. My mate and I joined a few days ago. We just got back from our wedding trip. My wife and I will be separated till I can figure out a way to defeat my father. I will have to pretend to obey my father still and have him believe that I have no one to mate with I am going to need help. I don't know who I can trust. My brothers are the only ones I have trusted since our sister's death. Can I still trust in you to help me survive?"Seo Jun asks Seo Shin.

"That is a dumb question. I know that father hates you, but I have never understood why. What I don't understand is how you were able to find your mate with your pearl gone?" Seo Shin asks Seo Jun. Seo Jun thinks for a few moments before pulling out his pearl.

"When father destroyed my pearl and sent the pieces into the wind. One shard fell on the floor. It was given to me by Selene before she left with Inari. I have kept it hidden all this time. It is how I was able to keep some of my powers. Jasmine found a shard while diving off the coast of Greece. When she touched it, we could see each other. We were instantly bonded when the shard she had joined with mine. Now that we are joined, even if Father tries to marry me to another in hopes of my death. His plan is for not. Jasmine's family is not normal. I'm sure you have realized this. Under no circumstances can a father get any of them. He will kill them in hopes of gaining power." Seo Jun tells Seo Shin.

"You mean if Father knows about that girl, he will kill her. I will not allow anyone to hurt Luxe. She may not see we are destined yet, but she is mine." Seo Shin stands and paces angrily at the thought of Luxe being hurt.

"Calm down; as long as she is here, she will be protected. There is a barrier around their home that protects them from the outside. Which means father cannot sense that we are here, nor can he sense their power." Seo Jun tells his brother.

"How are you going to hide the fact that you are mated or regaining your powers?" Seo Shin asks his brother, leaning against the tree.

"As one of my wedding gifts, the creator gave me a wedding band that will hide my markings. He also gave me a pendant to wear that would hide my growing powers. If you tell anyone or let anyone scan your mind, I will kill you myself. I will not allow harm to come to my love." Seo Jun's eyes flash as his dragons show Seo Shin his seriousness.

"I understand. I will keep your secrets because to say anything would put my mate in danger. " Seo Shin looks towards the house longingly.

"Are you sure that your pearl is not just reacting to the part of Luxe that is Chloe's soul?" Seo Jun asks his brother.

"I'm sure I have always loved Chloe. She was my first friend. When I see her or feel her, I'm happy. When I see and feel Luxe close my dragon inside reacts. His heart fire wells up and he wants her. The feelings are completely different. I don't understand it either. You have to help me show her that I'm not how she thinks." Seo Shin begs his brother.

"I don't know how effective I will be since I will be going home alone soon. " Seo Jun tells Seo Shin.

The garden fills with a warm golden light. Seo Jun has learned when this feeling comes, so does the creator. Bowing his head Seo Jun greets The father.

"Father, this is my Brother Seo Shin." Seo Jun introduces the two.

"No need for introductions. I know who Seo Shin is. Now I know that there is a small problem with my Luxe. I will take the two of them to my garden so that we can sort it out. No worries, my boy, all will be revealed soon." The father tells Seo Shin.

Luxe feels the father's presence and goes out to the garden. There she sees the three talking. Curious, she tries to listen but is caught as soon as she steps on the grass.

"Luxe come here and give a proper greeting ." The father calls out. Luxe walks over, hugging him and kissing his cheek.

"Hello, father. I guess you came because I'm a problem child." Luxe pouting sits down on the bench.

"Yes and no, I came to see how Jasmine and Seo Jun enjoyed my gift. Though you are right I mostly came because of you. I have a question for you. Will you be willing to come to my garden? " the father asks.

"Of course, I love your garden." Luxe jumps up excitedly.

" you may not like it this time. I will separate Chloe from you, and the three of you will talk. I knew eventually that you and Chloe would have to have a face-to-face talk. So now is the time. We will leave immediately." The father waved his hand, and the three were transported to his garden.

There Inari is sitting by the reflecting pool. She glances up to see who has arrived.

"Seo Shin, why are you here?" Inari stands between Luxe and Seo Shin.

"My love, no need to be protective. No harm will come to her. Now Luxe, I need you to stand in the pool. Go to the middle and allow it to cover you. " The father tells Luxe as he guides her to the pool. Inari is afraid, for she knows to enter the pool can separate the soul from the body. Looking frightened, Inari tries to hold her back.

"My love, she will be fine. I told you that someday they would have to meet. Two strong souls in one body that eventually they could collide. Chloe's strong will and Luxe's stubbornness are great when the same goal is in sight. This time it's causing a problem. They have to be able to see one another face to face. Neither will be in danger, I promise." The father holds his beloved as Luxe walks into the pool, slipping beneath the surface. The water begins to swirl with a rainbow of colors around Luxe. Luxe can feel the pull of Chloe leaving her. Luxe tries to scream, but no sounds will come out. When the two are separated, they both come to the pool's surface—the father motions for them to come out.

"Hello, Chloe, we have not had the pleasure of meeting before. I'm the creator or father of all. We need to have a little talk. When you exert your will, you make Luxe disappear? Now Luxe has never once wanted to be separated from you. She has always felt like you were a genuine part of herself. I need to know what you want?" The father asks of Chloe's soul.

Chloe stares at The Father, wondering if she can be sincere. Will she be sent away if she does not give the correct answer?

"What will happen to me?" Chloe asks, afraid to answer. You may take a few moments to gather your thoughts.

"That will depend on your answer to my question. Just know I will not abide by any lies or half-truths. If your answer is not how you truly feel, I will know. If you tell A lie or half-truth you will give up your right to decide." The father answers her, his tone stern but gentle. Chloe holds Luxe's hand, squeezing it for courage. Unsure if her answer will hurt Luxe or not.
