Chapter 17: Love Games

The situation at night was much worse than they had anticipated, with even the monstrous flesh mountain creature becoming prey for an even larger monster.

Li Changhe and He Feng slowly let out a breath.

Just now, the monster's huge head had moved around near the tree they were leaning against, seemingly probing the surrounding area. Li Changhe and He Feng held their breath, pressing their bodies tightly against the tree.

The putrid, hot breath that passed through the tree trunk reminded Li Changhe of the sensation of being a mouse being hunted by a hawk on the third card. It felt like they would be swallowed whole at any second.

Li Changhe tightly gripped his suit, which had a rock the size of a human head attached to it. A makeshift meteor hammer.

On the other hand, the box was holding a few wooden spears.

These weapons were originally meant to fight against the tribal people. Would they be of any use against such monsters?
