The Kitchen Is a Mysterious Place!

The kitchen was quite large, so it took them about two hours to get it done.

Li Song looked at the items and animals that were arranged in a row on the ground.

"Ridiculous!"

"Can you tell me why a hen's raw egg can fit so many thumbs?"

"Also, the rabbit's legs were trembling non-stop. What the hell did it mean that it couldn't move?"

What was even more outrageous was that there were fish that came out of nowhere. Why were their mouths open all the time?

Aside from the animals that couldn't make a sound, there were also piles of other things on the ground.

Strange-shaped stones? And a pig's butt?

"What's with all these?!"

"Motherf*cker!"

"What's going on with you guys?"

"I'm going to die, do you know that?"

"Who can tell me what's going on?"

Li Song supported his head with one hand and pointed at the things on the ground with the other as he spoke weakly.

Everyone looked at each other, not knowing what to say. From their faces, they seemed to imply. "Why are you pretending to be an innocent young man?"

They continued to look at each other with a tacit understanding, but no one spoke. This kind of hidden thing belonged to the type that could be done but not said.

They could do it secretly and silently. However, if they admitted to it, they would die on the spot. As long as they wanted to continue working here, they had to learn some abilities.

For example, playing the fool and not saying much. After all, the more one said, the more mistakes he would make.

Li Song felt a little embarrassed when he saw that no one was talking.

"Motherf*cker! Why is no one answering? Are you all deaf?"

"I don't want to say anything about these dead objects, but what's with these animals?"

"Eh? Say something! Weren't they all very energetic when they used it? Why aren't you guys talking..."

The supervisor continued to scold them with a dark face. After a while, he felt that his lips were dry and his throat was on fire. His entire body felt uncomfortable, and he coughed.

The trusted aide walked to the back and brought a pot of tea. "My lord, please have some tea."

Li Song took it and drank the tea.

"My lord, you have to understand," the trusted aide whispered in his ear, "The kitchen staff doesn't see many women in a year, so they need to vent their desires. There's no other way to do it!

Li Song didn't answer.

"They're cooped up in the kitchen all day long. Other than cooking, they're just doing odd jobs. Besides, there are no brothels in the Blue Cloud Sect, so..." the trusted aide continued to explain.

After hearing the explanation from his trusted aide, Li Song's originally dark face slowly regained its color.

He pondered for a long time. They didn't have a choice, not because they couldn't find a woman. What was the main reason?

This was because the higher-ups treated these odd-job workers badly. Or rather, the outer sect disciples didn't treat them as human.

They were like a group of piggies in a hoggery, and only when one of them grew up would he be qualified to talk to them. Otherwise, he would just have to sleep in the pigpen and fend for himself!

After taking a deep breath, Li Song straightened up his body and walked to the side. "Burn all these! Bury all the animals!"

His subordinates quickly lit these things up. In just a short time, the open space was ablaze, and a crackling sound could be heard. This caused the surrounding people to grit their teeth.

They had spent a lot of time creating many of these things. This was a painstaking effort!

They looked at the fire, their hearts bleeding. How were they going to live their life in the future?

The animals seemed to look around listlessly as the soil was dug up. Eventually, the world that was illuminated by the fire gradually disappeared, and all that was left was the black soil that covered them all.

The surroundings fell silent. The small animals were suffocated to death under the mound.

The veins on several of the chefs' faces popped out as if their wives had been buried alive. Someone behind them pulled on the corner of their clothes, indicating for them not to be impulsive. After all, they were just some props, not worth mentioning!

The imposing expressions on their faces slowly disappeared, and their breathing turned heavy.

Once all of them were dealt with, Li Song turned around.

He also knew that the kitchen staff was not clean. However, as long as there was a big mistake, he would turn a blind eye. After all, it would be the same even if they were replaced with a new group of people. It would be better to use these people.

"I know you guys have something to say about how I handled the situation, but I still have to say that this is a kitchen, not your f*cking brothel!" Li Song said angrily. Even though he could understand, he was still a little speechless at their actions.

"Now that this matter has ended, let's talk about the ghost! Fatty Wu Gan, you go first!" Li Song's eyes were bright and full of spirit as he stared at Wu Gan's every move. 'Let's see if this guy's statement was the same as the others.'

"My lord, I'll have to start from the furnace room! At that time, the stove suddenly opened, and there was a clang. After we closed the door, we heard a clang from the door again. That's when we got scared... There was a terrifying laughter on the roof, and I heard someone calling for my life."

Wu Gan explained everything that had happened in the fireplace in detail. Of course, he didn't mention the part where he 'showed off his godly power.'

In no time, Li Song asked about the details of the process. The other party answered truthfully, looking at the frightened faces of those who had been woken up by the splashing water.

Li Song now understood the situation. "Then, logically speaking, you all escaped. Why did you all faint later on? " he then asked with a puzzled look.

"Well, at first, we thought we had already gotten rid of the ghost and were just looking for a room to relax!" Fatty Wu Gan said with an uncertain expression, then paused. It was as if the horror was about to happen.

Li Song was quite dissatisfied with Wu Gan's answer. He thought, "Really? There's no loophole at all? Are you kidding?"

After listening to everyone's explanation, Li Song felt that there must be a problem, and it seemed to be related to food.

First of all, the other party had a huge storage ring. Why wasn't it a storage bag? After all, what could a storage bag that could only hold a few pieces of clothes hold? A fifth of a salmon?

However, the situation that these people were talking about was highly consistent. And so, this detailed explanation made it impossible for anyone to doubt it.

But the other party had never shown his face from the beginning to the end. It had not appeared, not even once.

It was obviously wrong to leave this situation to him, the kitchen supervisor, Li Song.

There were also Wu Gan and Song Wan. One had an extremely strong perception, while the other could see hidden things with his eyes. However, they did not discover anything.

If they didn't encounter a ghost, then they must have encountered some other guy who was good at hiding. If even the two of them couldn't find him...

No one was strong in the kitchen, so this kind of matter required professional investigation. It was better to leave it to the higher-ups!
