¬ FASHIRE

Oh, Crud.

I clenched my jaw.

There was no getting out of this. She knew. Yet why was she always acting as if this was a first?

And the way she acted at times… caused a familiar annoyance to rise from within. I had no problem with this. Whether she knew or not, I wouldn't care—I wasn't supposed to care. This was to be my retribution for everything, but these feelings were not fading anytime soon no matter how insignificant I tried to make it seem.

And with this treatment… I became angry.

I shouldn't worry. She wouldn't do anything.

"You are incredibly naive," I gritted out, turning my head to glare at her.

Her eyes widened. My chest tightened at her expression and I despised myself even more.

And her.
