 Magic was banned and magic users were hunted and killed so the few, who Survived this purge lived in hidding afraid to use their gifts.

Yasmine  is the daughter of the king. The princes of the Kingdom, she is rumoured to be the the definition of beauty but none has ever seen her before. She lived in the Castle, but her quaters was a restricted area, only her two handmaidens, four cookd, a butler , her personal knights and sometimes her parents paid her a visit quatter her two handmaidens four cooks, and a butler, her personal knights and sometimes her parents paid her a visit. The other maids in her quater has seen her twice. when she was crawling and teething as a baby and when she was three years old. She even did her a lot of things on her own so her handmaidens did not get to see her frequently. She started feeling strange things in her body. She did not Understand, She could hear people from afar even when they weren't talking. She was afraid of her own power ,thinking that she was going crazy when she made it rain heavily when her father denied her request to go out. But her mother felt the Sudden change in her daughter. One night her mother came to her room when was about to sleep, she was a bit suprised with the visit and strangely she couldn't read her mother's expression nor  what she was thinking, her mother gave a straight face. She immediately got on her feet and curtsied "Your highness, I did not know you were visiting today" The Queen replied "Since when do I need to send word before Visiting my daughter, have a seat my darling" She asked "what brings you here my Queen" Her mothe smiled and replied "" Drop the formalities my love I need to have a serious talk with you" she said in a calm Voice but Yasmine felt uneasy she thought her mother how found out about her meetings with her new friends and they were going to forbid her from seeing them ever again. The Queen started to talk" I know you've heard about the stories of the witches, wallock, the habiars, Seers and all the magic users ". She nodded. "These Supernaturals were anihilated, they were hunted down, killed  and wiped out. Yasmine  said " Yes, mother l know" She continued "But some of them were able to escape over the years,  Some lived in the mountains, waters, trees, and some blended in as normal humans, and others lived in isolation. Yasmine  was shocked about this latest discovery because she thought they've been wiped out and she was never going to meet someone like her. Her mother continued "Those that lived among humans masked their scents and everything that could give them away as witches, worklocks etc and married intol high esteemed families and others built names for themselves. Some of the people is your grandmother Lucy, She's a very powerful witch, she married the  duke of  Fitzy and gave birth to me". Yasmine's eyes widened but her  mother just nodded, smiled continued "And I also married your father the king and I have you my dear, what you're experiencing Is your magic emerging I let your grandmother cast a  spell on you , so you would not show any magical Signs untill you are matured enough to handle it . But your magic didn't want to hidden, it's part of you. " Yasmine asked "Does father know"  Her mother shook her head meaning that his father has no idea. Her mother said "You cant reveal who you are to anybody you can't trust anyone too. I came here also to teach you some basic spells". Yasmine nodded in excitement and then began. Though she was shocked about the latest discovery, she was able to process it in no time since she has already come to accept who she is before this. Her mother taught her how to read the minds of two people at the same time without mixing them getting into peoples head and Controlling their thoughts.
