About Last Night

Both of them were out of words and the awkward moment lasted for a while. Ren got up looking confused, excused herself to the washroom, Jade nodded sat there for a while and started to lay her bed. They were both thinking of what they saw but Ren was wondering whether Jade had the same weird dream or something else. Jade was also pondering on the same thing. They freshened up and went down stairs for breakfast but since it was already cold, they had to reheat it . Jade's emotions were mixed up , both of them as a matter of fact thinking of the dream, reheating the food absent minded. As they sat to eat , Mr stone walked in and asked about how their time outside was. Ren seamed to have snapped back to reality when her father asked , she started to talk about the things they did to catch up, old friends they met, fun things they did at the festival, the food they ate, she literally said everything that they did, this helped her to loosen up a little and Jade relaxed as they started to recall some of their childhood memories . Mr Stone felt relieved , knowing that both girls had fun last night and Ren was happy. He was worried because off late ,his daughter seemed a little off and troubled, but she always said that she was okay and there's nothing to worry about. He went back to his work shop leaving the girls alone.

The girls talked for a while, but Jade remembered the dream and her mood changed. Ren asked what was wrong , she was hesitant for a while and said " about last night .." before she could finish her statement, Ren cut her off and said "I'm okay, it was just bad dream, I'm fine" ,she stood up to hide her lying face. Ren didn't want her friend to get worried about her. Yesterday when Jade arrived , she has been asking her a lot of questions as to why she seemed a little off, more like tired, She could see fear in her eyes though Ren has been putting up a strong face, she looked lean and troubled. Jade noticed something was wrong even before her tooth fell out . Ren tried to change the topic but last night's episode was something she couldn't ignore, she knew Jade was scared but she put herself together to comfort her. So Ren finally gave in, she sat down took in a very deep breathe and she usually calls Jade Little, so said " Look Little, a lot has been going on , weird things I can't explain, dreams and visions about people and things I've never seen before and last night was one of my episodes". Jade looked at Ren with fear and worry all mixed up. she didn't respond to what Ren just said .Ren realised that Jade's reaction was mixed up with her own fears. She shook Jade and asked what was wrong, she didn't reply so Ren asked " Have been having such dreams too". Jade shook her head a held on tightly to Ren's hands , she was shivering and said , " No, but last night i had this scary dream and I saw you in it too ". Ren opened her eyes wide and started to narrate her dream to Jade, she looked at Ren with a confused look and said "it's exactly like mine, but how's this possible? " , but Ren said nothing. Jade stood up shivering and said "we can't keep this to ourselves , its not a simple dream, I don't have a good feeling about this and you need help and.... " before she could finish , Ren hugged her and said " and calm down , so could figure out way to deal with this. Plus our next meeting will be up soon and we can ask Emerald and Yasmine if they know anything about shared dreams" Jade nodded and sat down.
