THE JOURNEY

Queen Aleen started her journey. Though the travel was a short one , it seemed longer to the Queen. She felt like she has spent eternity on the road. She became restless and didn't want anymore stops to be made though it was necessary. She couldn't complain much and didn't want to be seen to be in a hurry or suspicious, since she knew people were watching especially Jackson's men. He has always been a thorn in her eyes and she has always wanted to get rid of him. Aleena knew that Jackson has been watching her every move including that if her mothers and that of Yasmine. For some reason she couldn't read his mind nor figure him out and the worst part is , her husband ,King Rufus is fond of his company and relies a lot on his advice. This has made it difficult for the Queen to eliminate him like she has done to the others. Due to this she kept all that she wanted , to get to her mother's faster in her head.

Aleena knew she was playing a very dangerous game. She drew haters and enemies from all corners of the earth. She kills everyone one who she suspected to be against her and her mother was no different. They've fought hard to protect their family from all preying eyes.

Her sudden visit to her mother was not about missing her but to plan .

She has been feeling weird off late . Her senses has heightened and she feels that something is off.

Yasmine on the other hand has been feeling a little weird too but she brushed them off , thinking it was just a feeling . She sat beautifully next to her mum. Though they didn't talk much, she could see that her mother was in deep thought . She had a lot to ask her mum but she stopped not wanting to disturb her. On their way her mind slipped to Taylor , whom she hasn't seen over a decade. She was worried for the first few years when they couldn't reach him and they weren't hearing anything from him but she got over it, now she only hopes that he is living a good and successful life as he envisioned. Whiles thinking of him she suddenly remembered something, she turned to her mum and asked with a pleading face . "Your highness ....." she said , her made then snapped back to reality and responded "what did you say?" . Yasmine seemed to have lost words for moment and stuttered a little before speaking properly again. She continued "... umm your highness... I'd to ask of you a little favor", but before she could finish her statement her mother interrupted her " Don't call me that , I'm your mother " she gave her a serious look. Yasmine lowered her head in embarrassment. Aleena then said "what did you want to ask?"

Yasmine told her that she wanted to go on tour around the kingdom after visiting their grandmother. Aleena didn't like this idea, so she didn't want Yasmine to go. She knew her daughter didn't know much about the outside world except for what she reads in books and also she do want her daughter to go anywhere without protection, but Aleena's fear was more than one could comprehend.Aleena thought about what her daughter had said but she denied. Yasmine was heartbroken since she thought she could finally go out. The news ruined her mood for the rest of the journey. Aleena tried to convince her to understand her , but Yasmine felt that her parents were being unreasonable.

Yasmine was quiet throughout the journey, so Aleena gave an alternative, "I'll let You choose a personal knight and when you pass your swordsmanship test then I'll maybe think about letting you visit a few places, what do you say" . Yasmine was very excited and agreed to it , though it wasn't what she wanted.
