She never learns her lesson does she?

Elysia rushed over the things she should do early the day of the eclipse. "Aren't you guys going to follow?"

The two owls ignored her, and she took that as a no. "I'll be going now. I'm sure aunt Linda would fall for my other self." Elysia chuckled, looking at the figure of herself she made.

"She doesn't think am that dumb, right?" Linda frowned and Daria laughed.

"She should have gotten to the gates by now. Who should keep an eye on her, Lucinda?" Daria asked and gestured towards her.

"Why thank you. At least you're trusting me with something your whole life." Daria snorted before she started levitating.

"I'm sending Theo too, then." Lucinda snarled.

"I'm not going. I don't want a taste of that woman's power again. No, never." Theo frowned, and Daria Christmas chuckled before looking at Lucinda with a "you have no other choice" look.

"Just get out, Daria. The eclipse is in a minute, and she would go out in a minute." Lucinda hissed.

"I wonder why the eclipse affects your powers. You're an ancient witch, aren't you?" Theo asked, but Lucinda didn't reply to him.

Daria watched Elysia walk out of the school as soon as the eclipse set in. She could feel her power drain slightly, but it didn't really affect her since she wasn't totally a witch.

Elysia looked at the long road which was now covered with darkness due to the eclipse. She pulled up her gown and rushed down the stone road. She had at most eight minutes to get to a place she wouldn't be noticed.

Soon, Elysia got to a turn. She was contemplating which road led to her destination. Daria, who was up in the sky, was looking at the little girl with interest.

"Oh seriously, which way now?" She groaned.

"Excuse me, young lady." She saw a young lady with golden hair walk towards her. Her beauty was out of this world.

"Oh, hello." Elysia waved.

"You look lost. Where are you heading?" The last asked.

"Any nearby village." Elysia replied.

"You'll be turning left. Follow the path with the woods by it." The lady smiled sweetly and Elysia thanked her before going as she was directed.

Daria could only chuckle as she watched Elysia walk towards the direction she had told her. "You weren't asked to direct her, Daria." Lucinda's voice echoed in her ears.

"If you're much better, then come and keep an eye on her." Daria frowned.

Elysia walked down the path as she was told. She could see the magical woods on her left as she walked along. She made sure her barrier was up to protect her from any déjà vu. Soon she got to a sharp bend which seemed to go behind the woods. She gulped and followed the path.

"I should have just passed in the woods and go on straight. This is a waste of time." She groaned as she saw the eclipse end. "Well, I was a bit quick in walking."

She walked towards the sharp bend but instead of following the path she walked on the grass and stopped at the end with her eyes wide open. Below the highland, a beautiful sight of a large village.

"Wow. Wow. Wow." She couldn't close her mouth. "This is wonderful. I've never seen something like this. People living together."

Daria, who was above her could only laugh. She looked like a baby just seeing candy for the first time.

Daria landed and changed her appearance. Her hair turned brown, and her dress turned into that the villagers wore.

"Miss. Where are you heading to?" She called Elysia's attention. Elysia turned to look at her, and she greeted her.

"I'm new here. I don't know anywhere here." Elysia said.

"I can't stay for long, but I'm sure you would need this." Daria gave her a purse of money. "I can see you don't have any."

"I wouldn't take it. Please ma'am have it back." Elysia tried to return the purse.

"It's okay. You can have it. Besides, I have a lot of it, and you would need some." Daria smiled, surprised Elysia who was always rude and arrogant towards Linda was this nice.

"Thank you very much. I would always remember this favor." Elysia bowed and Daria nodded before walking away.

"Leave her be, Daria. She's going out on her own, she doesn't need you to babysit her." Lucinda yelled.

"And do you prefer her gambling to get money?" Daria frowned. "I wasn't planning on helping her again after this, so let me be."

Elysia walked down to the village and yet again she was stunned when she saw a man. "A man. A man. So, this is how they look like, really. Wow." She gasped looking at the large number of men walking around.

The men were walking around with large loads from the hinterland. Elysia was amazed by the sight of the ocean. She forgot all about men and walked towards the port. She saw many boats there and fishermen coming out of the boats with basket of fishes.

She looked at the women collecting the fishes and walking towards the market. And once again she took her eyes off the ocean to the market.

"Where should I go first. The ocean or that place?" Elysia frowned before walking towards the ocean.

She sat at the edge of the ocean in a side the boats were not. She was surprised how the ocean water was not cold nor warm. Soon she was distracted again by men who were shirtless throwing fishes out of the water to men who were on the port.

"Wow." She gasped looking at their shirtless body. She stood up and walked towards the port when she was stopped by an old man.

"Young lady. I don't advise you to be here. Women should not be on the port when the fishing is in." The old man said.

"Oh. Thank you, sir." She smiled before walking towards the market.

The market was large and beautiful and large. Different stalls were open with different items in them. Elysia walked towards the cloth shop and looked at the clothes displayed.

"Would you like some dresses, my lady?" A lady from the shop asked.

"What is this?" Elysia asked looking at the shiny material.

"This is silk, my lady." The attendant said. "It is the most expensive here."

"How much is it?" Elysia asked.

The attendant said the price and Elysia nodded, looking at other dresses. A red silk gown caught her attention. It was decorated with amethyst, and it fitted perfectly on the mannequin.

"Can I buy that one?" Elysia asked.

"Yes, my lady." The attendant helped her pack it and she paid. She didn't know how much to pick, so she used her magic to pick the right amount. "Thank you."

Elysia walked towards the inner part of the market. She got to a manicure shop, and she looked up surprised. "This actually exists? Wow."

Elysia walked in, and all attention was drawn toward her. She walked towards the chairs and sat quietly as if no one were around. She was used with the stares, so she didn't count it.

"What would you like to do, my lady?" A man asked her.

"My nails, please." Elysia said, and he nodded, leading her to where she would be attended to. Two other men helped out with her manipedi.

After about an hour and half, she walked out of the shop looking at her nails which were beautifully decorated.

"It's even more beautiful than it was explained in the book. I still have a few hours."

Elysia walked towards a jewelry shop, and she was fascinated by the sight of different crystals and silvers.

"Which would interest you, my lady?" Elysia looked at the one with purple crystal. Although it wasn't her type amethysts, she liked it. "I would take that one, please."

Elysia didn't know they all thought she was from the Royal family, so they were all treating her nicely. No normal person to them would cover her face like that unless she wants to avoid being recognized.

Not long after, Elysia walked towards the food shop to have something to eat. The place was beautifully decorated and the chairs as tables were comfortable.

"What would you like, my lady?" The boy serving asked. "Anything you have." She said.

"Okay my lady." The boy quickly rushed away and rushed back in with a tray of soup.

"What is this?" Elysia looked at the green soup.

"It is mashed veggie leaves with some meats, my lady." The boy replied, looking at her confused.

"Okay." Elysia raised her brows behind the veil. What he said sounded like trash to her, but she tried it and to her surprise it was tasty.

Elysia spent another two hours there trying out new dishes and looking at how they were cooked, which surprised her. The woman running the food shop gave her some ingredients to cook.

"Daria, what is she doing?" Lucinda asked.

"She just finished eating, and she's heading towards the village. She isn't even paying attention to the time, is she?" Daria frowned. "Oh, oh. I'm running out of power."

"Not now. I'll send Theo to pick you." Lucinda sighed.

Daria, who was busy walking around, sat quietly before a shop. She had stressed herself too much, and now she's feeling weak.

Soon Theo arrived and lifted her in his arms. "Where's Elysia?" He asked and Daria pointed towards Elysia who was standing by a street food cart. "Does she really eat this much?"

"Leave her. Let her enjoy her time outside." Daria sighed.

"But Lucy, will she be alright alone?"Theo asked.

"She should be fine." Lucinda replied.

Theo left the village with Daria, who was as weak as an almost dead mosquito.

"Don't tell me you ate lettuce. That's why your powers drained drastically, and it's still on a day of an eclipse." Theo frowned as he flew above the magical woods with Daria in his arms.

"Just face front and stop scolding me." Daria frowned.

"Would you like to see some magic trick, my lady?" A magician called Elysia who nodded and walked towards him. "For my first trick, I would make this rabbit disappear."

As soon as the rabbit disappeared, Elysia smirked. "You can't trick me, you know. But that was nice." Elysia gave him some money and walked away. A witch like her knows how magic works.

She walked towards the village square, but she was stopped when she saw someone being bullied.

"Let go of me. I don't have any money." The young lady cried as the surrounding men grabbed her harshly.

"Let go of the lady." Elysia frowned, collecting the lady from them. "Don't you have anything better to do?"

The men looked at her like others did. As if she was from a Royal family. "We're so sorry, my lady." They quickly ran away.

"Thank you, my lady. I can't thank you enough." The lady said, and Elysia smiled. "I would like to repay your favor. It is almost dinner time. Would you like to have dinner with me and my family?"

"I'm a bit full, but if that's what you want." Elysia smiled after casting a spell to see if she could trust her.

Unknown to the veiled witch, someone above was watching her every movement.

"Looks like the little witch is now alone."

A wicked laughter escaped the person's lips.
