"So you didn't even attack her and she just fell unconscious?" Pel asked deadpanned. Ignoring the part that Taxao might have misunderstood the situation, there wasn't much that should be deemed his fault and he must have taken the blame because she fell unconscious after he showed the rocket.

"Hold on, what was Carrie doing with you guys in the first place?" Eric frowned not believing their story.

Taxao turned to him and started intently. "Has she been anywhere but with us?"

"What is that supposed to mean?" Eric took offense but he couldn't just deal with Taxao, not here at least so he kept his anger in check.

Pel ignored Eric and turned to Noah. "Can I see the flower?"

Noah then nodded and brought out a flower from his ring before giving it to Pel. Pel collected the flowers shaped like a periwinkle flower but was white with yellowish tips on the petals.
