Thirst

"Have a great date!" Thea is whispering gibberish.

Before esme hit her back, Thea had already run in and joined Marc, who had just placed the grocery bag on the table.

"Have fun, kids," says Julien, leaving with a fresh red apple in his left hand.

"You don't want to join us?" Pauline spontaneously made small talk.

"No. You guys do it," replied Julien as he reached the doorway facing the carport directly.

"Thank you, Julien! "Ava and Hugo shouted at the same time.

"Okay, here's the deal," Thea looks at each person struggling around the bag.

"We women prepare foodstuffs to roast together on rooftops while watching some movies. Deal?" Thea looked at Ava and Pauline in turn, then diverted her attention to Marc after getting the nod from the two girls. "Are you willing to tidy up the rooftop and prepare tools to barbecue with Hugo?"

"Okay," Marc said with a smile adorning his handsome face.
