I got up after eating, took the tray, and threw the food clutter away. I strolled out of the cafeteria, intending to pass close to Gunner. I'd like to get a closer look at her; she's the mystery woman I've been looking for for a long time, and if she's willing to look at me. I'll wait for her response.
[Will she recognize who I am?]
In case she didn't notice. But my plan remains intact. In any case, she must notice me. She must be in close proximity to me. I walked straight from the cafeteria to the classroom. Inside are a few classmates, as well as the nerd sitting next to me in his chair. However, we do not yet have a teacher. I sat down and began my strategy. I considered asking this Nerd for the information I needed to learn more about the woman of my dreams, including her name. Nerd's name was unfamiliar to me, thus
"Hey," I said to him. He fixed his gaze on me.
"What is your name?" I asked. Stuttering "B-ben..." He did, however, speak clearly.
"My name is Daniel Park," I said, and he simply nodded.
Hey, it's difficult to discuss, but you can also be patient. It's also good because, even if I interview him, he won't be able to tell others about it. Because of his silence.
"I'd like to ask you a question," he nodded again but said nothing.
"Can I ask you a question?"
Ben replied, "Sure."
So I asked. "Do you know Gunner?" he continued, nodding once more.
[OK, if he knows Gunner, there's a chance he also knows his girlfriend.]
"Do you know his girlfriend?" I asked, nodding once more.
And didn't we have a lovely conversation? But it's fine; at the very least, he responds with a simple nod.
"Do you know his name?" I asked once again.
Someone sat down next to me in the chair. I also heard the sound of a chair and the person seated in it. Because I'm facing Ben and don't know who you are. Ben hasn't responded and is staring back at me.
"Excuse me, do you have an additional ballpen?" a woman behind me asked.
I glanced around to see who had previously occupied the unoccupied seat. Because I'm still interviewing Ben, it's a pain.
[As a student, she should bring a ballpen to school. Tsk! ]
But I almost fell out of my chair when I saw who was borrowing the ballpen. But it's a good thing I didn't
The lady continued asking me,
"Are you all right?" she asked, As I scratched my head.
"Ha? I'm alright," I responded.
"I'm Alex. You're the new student, aren't you?"
She then extended her hand to me, and we shook hands
[Alex? Is she the same Alex Hyun? She's a girl?!]
I assumed it was a male name, but now I don't have to interview Ben because she's right in front of me... Her name is Alex.
[However, why didn't I recognize her?]
"Hey, I spoke my name." "Perhaps you should mention yours," she laughed again.
[Oops, she introduced herself and we exchanged handshakes, but I still haven't mentioned my name.]
Right, who has the courage to speak? She's there in front of me now. It's a little sad that she doesn't seem to remember me; perhaps it's because it was night, still raining, and dark, and she didn't see my face? So she hasn't heard of me? She had no idea that the man standing in front of her was the same man she had kissed ten months ago.
It's not like I could say [Hi, I'm Jared. I'm the one you kissed before. In the middle of the road, at night it was dark and rainy. After you kissed me you ran away from me. But you know I was looking for you.]
Of course, I'm not allowed to say that. She might be ashamed, and she might think of me as a stalker as a result. I'll just give a genuine introduction as if we've never met before.
"Sorry, my name is Jared, and yes, I'm a new student. Are you Alex Hyun?" I asked.
"It's me, why?" she inquired.
"I honestly answered her that I assumed you were a male," I said, and she chuckled.
"Does my name sound strange?" Simply put, I blame my parents. They suggested Alexander as my first name. I'm not sure why it became Alex, The a-n-d-e-r suddenly vanished at the end. Perhaps they were too lazy to write my name on my birth certificate. My second name was derived from my father's. Papa's name is Alexandrei. . Without the ander and andrei, I'm Alex. Do you understand? " Then she laughed again.
"I'm sorry, I'm talking gibberish," she said, and her laughing infected me as well.
"That's your name's story. It's cute. It's unique. And it's okay even if you're talkative," I said as I moved closer to her and whispered.
"As for Ben here, just nod and shake," I said, smiling and pointing to Ben.
"You're insane as well," she defended Ben, laughing.
"Just kidding, and yeah, he does look really nice," I agree with her.
We conversed until our teacher arrived. Alex said goodbye to me as the class ended and I headed home.
"Daniel, I'll go first; perhaps I'll pick you up outside; just be careful when you return home."
I was irritated by her words since I believe the one she told me to fetch was Gunner. But I smiled at her nevertheless, hoping she wouldn't notice my irritation.
"All right, be careful," I responded as we parted ways.
She said, "Alright," and walked out of the classroom.
As I was putting my stuff away, I noticed a white handkerchief with flower embroidery on the floor. I know that's Alex's handkerchief because I saw her carrying it earlier. So I grabbed it and dashed out of the classroom to pursue her. It's fortunate she hasn't gone too far.
"Alex!" she said as she wheeled back and came to a halt.
"Yes?" she asked.
I handed her the handkerchief as soon as I got near enough.
"You must have dropped your handkerchief."
"Thanks. "I didn't realize I had fallen," she explained.
"No problem," I replied.
I wondered because she was alone and unaccompanied. So I asked
"Where did your partner go?" her expression became saddened.
"He's unavailable. He texted and said he couldn't come home with me right now. His buddies invited him," she explained, forcing a smile.
"Your boyfriend?"
" I asked, pretending I had no idea.
"Yes," She replied and there was still sadness on her face.
"I have a student's permit, Do you want me to send you home? I remarked, hoping she would agree.
"Uhmm .... it's really embarrassing…. besides we just a while ago and It really is not appropriate for you to send me home," She said while refusing.
[What can I say to persuade her to agree? ]
"That's fine; we're classmates," I said. "However, where do you live?" I asked.
"In Quin's Land Subdivision," She replied.
We're in the same subdivision, as though Lady Luck was on my side. I can't stop smiling.
"We're only in one subdivision, let's leave," I said, grabbing the books she was clutching and carrying them away. She only followed me around. We took a stroll to the parking lot.
Other students were staring at us, but I simply ignored them. Alex, too, seemed unconcerned about our stares. We are not committing anything wrong. I welcomed her into my red Honda Accord car when we got to the parking lot.
"Thank you," she answered modestly.
We were both in the car when
"Alex, because we live in the same subdivision, I can send you home every day." She chuckled at what I said.
Are you going a bit to fast? We are not close enough for you to do this. We just met a while ago and you already want to send me home every day…? "
[Did she notice? Of course, I don't want to waste time. I should be close to her right away. How am I going to snatch him from Gunner if I'm so slow?]
"Why can't I? We're friends, after all, and I'm not going to bite you or anything." "I said, laughing.
"Hahaha. She said, "You do appear to be harmless."
We were just talking on the way home. She explained why she didn't go to class this morning. She claimed she was awake at noon since she had just returned from a birthday celebration the night before. She claimed she wake up late because she had arrived home late. We arrived at her place.
"Would you like to come in first?" she asks.
"No, I'll do it next time; it'll happen again, won't it?" I asked, smiling, hoping she wouldn't answer no.
She laughed at me once more. "You're quite funny, Daniel."
I joked to her, "Thanks for the compliment; I have a great time with you because you laugh at everything I say."
"It's your fault; alright, I'm in; thank you for sending me home."
When I stopped her, she was about to exit my car.
"Wait Alex," I said, and she turned back to face me.
She asked, "Why?"
"Since you said I'm hilarious, I'll take a chance and pick you up tomorrow; let's go in together, okay?"
She originally considered it. While I wait for her to say yes.
"Uhm, Sure"
"All good, I'll be here at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow!"
" I said, excited.
I can't hide my excitement at the thought of picking her up tomorrow.
"All right," she answered, smiling.
"All right, Daniel, bye."
"Bye," she said as she exited the vehicle.
When she got to the front of their house, she looked at me again and waved, and I returned the wave and waited for her to enter. I'm overjoyed since Alex made up for my bad morning.
