Behead The Snake (Part 1)

The moment that Weathervane flew into Rowan's hands, he could feel his stats rising through some type of barrier as he felt as if some type of shackle was released from inside of him. The stat page had been finished and Rowan finally understood why one of the innate abilities of the Weathervane was to increase his strength, but now that the stat page was finished for the weapon it was more than just an increase to his strength, it completely doubled it. It did not double the base stat though. While he was holding the weapon, his strength would be doubled from its value with all the additions.

Currently Rowans base strength was at 132, thanks to mana body his strength stat increased based on 200 percent of his mind stat giving him another 290 points into his strength but if that was not enough then the effect of his new title to give him another 10 strength per skill gave him another 300 strength. All together that made it so that the Weathervane gave him 722 strength.

So with the weathervane, his strength soared to be over 1400 points, which in turn truly did release a shackle in Rowan. If not for his peculiar circumstances and his bloodline perfectly complimenting him and his other skills helping him carry the balance, Rowans strength had far exceeded the limits of a level 20 and he was in real danger of injuring himself with such massive strength but with berserkers trance in effect he could use it perfectly albeit operating at full strength before he increased his level may cause some residual aches.

Rowan roared and tapped his back foot off of the ground and became a purple beam of light. His instant acceleration had reached an obscene level thanks to his strength. He stomped on the ground right in front of the skinny zombie king that he had dragged to the ground when Rowan executed thrust with all of his momentum behind the base form of Weathervane.

The amethyst weapon light that his skill now created was accompanied by what looked like purple wind. Rowan was creating another technique on the fly. The tip of the spear used wind to create a vacuum while the zombie tried to use its own wind to resist the effect it was too late. The Weathervane, had an amethyst light and a purple wind wrap around the blade as it plunged right through the zombie's flesh and the force of the blow blew a hole directly in the zombie's throat. Rowan spun after the strike, he still had the momentum from the first step and he slid across the dirt and jabbed his weapon in the dirt right in front of Peter which he had gotten in front of unabated because even the other zombie kings were taken by surprise by one of them being dispatched so quickly causing them all to snap to attention, it even caused Peter's control to wane as they all collapsed on him with attacks while he was still standing in front of Peter.

Rowan, who was just standing there, leaned forward so his face was right next to Peters' "That's one." Rowan had been able to fight Feng to what was his victory with just his newfound abilities and the prototype to his current weapon. Now, with the complete weapon in hand, his only enemies would be those who reached the limit of this world. Rowan was assuming that those enemies would still be able to threaten him and the longer they were at level fifty, the more time they had to make and or find new skills. Rowan was looking forward to it because the enemies left in evergreen city were unlikely to be a challenge any longer.

"Rain form." The weapon shrunk and broke apart and multiplied and shot outwards like the explosion of a grenade. The zombie kings all took defensive maneuvers based on their elements while Peter had vanished in a puff of dark green smoke.

Rowan began to command the rain form as his hands danced through the air, while at the same time, he created cloud strings from his new gloves. The rain form swirled around him as he lassoed the humans, still left with cloud strings. They each tried to fight it but while they had gotten stronger, they could not compare to Rowan. The rain form also moved and cut through tendons, rendering them completely useless for those that struggled too much.

The zombie kings realized that their food was being taken away and got enraged and attacked at once. Rowan used the rain form to block their different elemental attacks as each weapon split apart was able to channel his storm mana, but even with the weathervane boosting his mana efficiency through the roof, he was feeling the drain.

It took him minutes to gather all the humans, but some of them were zodiac members in disguise, discovered by the green contacts that they were wearing in their eyes to give the illusion of being mind controlled. His enhanced vision was able to see this once they were closer to him, while at the same time his mana whipped around so violently that unless they kept their eyes completely closed, then they were out of luck. Rowan picked those people out and used the mixture of rain form and the cloud strings to execute them on the spot, he ignored the messages from exp gained and dispatched them until there was none left.

It left him with exactly ten people left with the mayor and his closest aides, including Neal. The snake had dug deep into the mayor's office if he was able to mobilize close to 200 gang members from within the stadium. The stadium must have been the base of the snake, but this was good this meant that more likely than not it was highly likely that there was other forces there, forces that Rowan had to hope could be put to use so that he could complete his quest and save as many people as possible on this planet before it was time for him to leave but the system had indeed already told him that he was fighting a losing battle.

Rowan lassoed the remaining people and threw them through a window and into his building so that they would be out of the way. He had disabled their limbs as well, making it so that they could no longer get in the way. Rowan's battle passives had increased his stats again while Berserker's blood lust had reached its pinnacle, putting another 100 points into each of his stats. The underlings of the zodiac gang that were loyal to Peter had literally only come here to put him in the most optimal state to fight the remaining 11 zombie kings.Rain form could no longer stop them as a flaming fist burst through the wall of weapons and shot towards Rowan.

He smiled and clenched his fist and threw a punch as well. The two fists collided before the world went silent and there were cracks heard. The zombie's fist shattered on contact while the remaining flames burst across Rowan's storm armament harmlessly. Rowan smiled and grabbed the fire zombie by the wrist and yanked downward. His plan originally was to yank it into the ground before stomping its head into mush, but the zombie yanked back at the same time and Rowan's speed, coupled with his strength, caused him to directly tear the limb from the zombie's body.

Rowan used the meat limb as a weapon and clubbed the zombie in the head with his full strength. The zombie's head exploded as it was shooting a ball of fire from its mouth, which proved futile as it caused his entire skull to explode. A zombie king with blades for arms charged in with a zombie that was covered in a pulsing darkness and another that had constructs of gray light forming around its body.

Rowan returned the Weathervane into base form before it transitioned right into cloud and wind form at the same time. The platinum cloud floated around his body before expanding with a massive whoosh that blinded the zombies.

The cloud made the zombie kings feel like they were being stabbed with knives from inside and outside, causing them to shudder as wounds slowly began to open on both their insides and outsides. Rowan didn't let the opportunity pass as he drove his fist through the bladed zombie's head before he reached towards the brain stem and snatched the parasite, crushing it in his grip.

Rowan swung his hand and released the blade zombie while the light construct zombie created a massive skeletal head out of light that was trying to crush Rowan while the darkness zombie threw a puddle of inky black goo towards Rowan.

Rowan grabbed the construct by its lower jaw while it was not even able to produce enough force to crush his hand. He threw it at the black goo and they met and exploded in black and white fireworks. Rowan swiped twice and then thrice with his hands like they were blades and used the clouds to obscure it while he slashed with his hands once more and formed a cage of wind blades that trapped the light zombie inside while at the same time he dove at the dark zombie and spun himself like a top becoming a mobile tornado as he exploded through his midsection only stopping to make sure the parasite was destroyed.

Rowan came out of the spin and the cloud contracted to around his wrist, leaving him with just the wind form as he surveyed the final seven. They were all different elements, but no longer strong enough for Rowan to even care. He dismantled them all at the same time by using rain form to dismember them while they attacked.

Rowan heard the sound of clapping and turned to Peter Smithe who was slowly shrugging his robe off to reveal a massively toned body packed with wriggling muscles. Rowan watched as a green mist drained from the bodies of all the zombie kings and into him. His skin became greenish and a layer of scale formed across him as he changed. He pulled a massive greatsword out of the space around him and brandished it and Rowan noticed that it was serrated the entire length of the edge and was dripping something green that made it seem toxic with the way smoke was rising from the spot it hit.

"The best part of mixing mana and hypnotism Rowan raid was that I was able to put a failsafe in place. When my subjects die, their stats are transferred to me! You may have been able to fight 12 zombie kings separated, but what about a system user just like you with the strength of 12 zombie kings combined?"
