Chapter 15: First round

(A/n: A not edited/checked chapter...probably gonna rewrite this if there's many mistakes since I wrote this while experiencing writer's block and sleepiness...the coffee that I drank didn't work at all...

"Nice to meet you, Gamora. Looks like you got isekai'd after dying too" Said Kai with a grin as his fist that collided with the needle is smoking a little.

"Shut up." is the only response she gave the red haired.

Kai then officially started their fight as he barraged her with punches and kick as she blocks all of it with her needle.

*Bang!* *Bang!*

*Bang!* *Bang!*

*Bang!* *Bang!*

*Swiiiishhhh!*

Their attacks produced winds in all directions as the regulars covered their eyes from the pebbles and the wind itself.

After a minute of blocking his punches and kicks, Gamo- Anak saw a chance as she swung the needle downwards to Kai's head with much force than before as Kai blocked it with his arms crossed.

*BANG!*

*Crack!*

The attack caused the ground underneath Kai to crack as he looked at it and thought...

'She's definitely much stronger than me in terms of attack strength. If I did not have this weird things going on with my body that made my defensive capabilities much stronger, both my arms would've been broken from her attack.' He thought before he blocked an upward back kick from Anak.

*Doosh!*

*Swif!*

Him blocking the attack made his body flew 5 meters in the air before Anak ran towards where he is landing as she poke upwards towards his...

"Are you planning to kill my future generations or something?" He asked while in the air.

"Maybe. I'm getting irritated just by seeing you even for a second after all. What more if I see your kids." Anak replied. It actually has some truth in it since there's something that makes her uncomfortable while she is in his presence that she can't describe.

Hearing her and thinking that it's just a joke, Kai just smiled a little as he said...

"Sorry but..."

The moment that he saw that he was at the right height, he then lightly stepped on her needle as he used it to back dive away from her. He practiced many fighting styles and techniques in his previous world and this is one of them.

"-many girls will be sad if that happens" He continued before his body faces to the other direction as his vision turns towards his back where he saw the other rooms in the arena where the other regulars were in. He then decided to observe them before landing on the ground to see if there's some people with worth in there before he saw a girl holding a wand staring at him with a blush as he handsomely smiled and playfully winked at her.

Seeing the handsome regular winking at her, the girl's face became redder as she immediately thought that it has a meaning before she mouthed to him: 'Let's meet after this game'...Although Kai can't really clearly determine what she mouthed to him since his view is upside down due to him being in a back dive position...

Him back diving revealed his 6 pack abs as the male regulars just looked away with disgust and the female ones blushed with blood coming out of their nose before they immediately took out their phones as they took pictures of him.

Seeing the red head back dive away from her, Anak didn't ran after him as she just swung her needle to create an air slash towards where Kai is landing.

Feeling that there's an attack coming towards him, Kai landed with both of his hands as he hand stand's before immediately propelling his body upwards to avoid the attack.

*Swish!*

Kai avoiding it made it continue towards another team's room as the regulars that was in there got ready to intercept the air wave with nervousness. However, before the attack even crashes towards them, it was blocked by a yellow barrier as they immediately knew that Leroro blocked it for them as they slumped to the ground and sighed in relief.

Even with the three of them, they are still not sure if they will be able to block the attack of that monster of a regular. They then became even more impressed to the red haired because he literally blocked an attack from her without suffering any damage even with her monstrous strength.

Back to the fight.

They both ignored the attack that became a stray one and almost killed a whole team of regulars. They couldn't care less for them. If they are so weak that they can't even block a simple attack, why would they even climb the tower. The test administrator also can't just disqualify them just because their attack accidentally hit a non participant.

Kai propelling his body made him flew around 15 meters to the air as he made his body face Anak's direction. He then saw her jumping towards him getting into a downward slashing stance with a serious face which is something that Kai thought as funny.

Staring at her ascending towards him, Kai thought about things for a second.

'I'm sure that my next move will still not defeat her...it will only catch her off guard and that's it...hmm'

After thinking on what's his next next move in that 1 second, his eyes widened a little before turning back to normal immediately. He then grinned and decided to gamble by doing 'it' as he spoke.

"You are so aggressive, Gamora...However..." His grin widened more as Anak had a bad premonition seeing it.

"-you will never be as aggressive as me on the bed~" Kai flirted as he puts his hands on his pockets before a red flaming orb appeared in front of him.

"Huh!?"

Seeing the orb, Anak immediately disregarded his trash words as her eye's widened before she immediately replaced her attacking stance with a defensive one as a shinsu attack shot towards her.

No one noticed that it was a little different from the first shinsu attack that he did on the first team that got eliminated. The ones he sent first was just like a red light of shinsu while the attack that he sent right now was a flame orb. They did not noticed it because it looks exactly the same when it's shot at the speed of sound.

Anak gritted her teeth as she instantly figured out that the reason that Kai did not use shinsu to fight her before was for her to let her guard down from a shinsu attack to catch her off guard. Which is a strategy that became successful since she currently can't really do much while in the air.

'He is resorting to tactics now...does that mean that he realized that he is weaker than me...no... it doesn't make sense since he clearly took on an attack that I put effort to without taking any damage...' She thought confusingly before her needle collided with the attack. She thought that the attack was a bit weird but it didn't gave her time to think as it immediately pushed her downwards since she had no resistance at all as long as she's midair.

*BANG!*

The attack collided with her needle as it threw her towards the ground as she crashed feet first creating cracks underneath her while she is still defending against the attack.

*CRASH!*

"Keugh!" sounded Anak as she gritted her teeth. The attack pushing her downwards just gave it more momentum as even she had to give it her all to deflect it.

However, before she could even deflect it away, the shinsu exploded as it created a loud noise and winds that pushed back even the regulars that is in their rooms.

*BOOM!*

*Swish!*

The explosion spat out pure red flames as it made the temperature in the arena rise. The part where Anak crashed on became covered with smoke before it slowly vanished.

Staring at the smoke while still in the air, Kai spoke with a grin again.

"Looks like you have a bad memory, Gamora-chan. That's not good, you know~." He said before he thanks his past self for demonstrating the strength of his shinsu before fighting her.

'She probably thought that it would not be enough to damage her so she forgets about it and decided to fight me without worrying about it...' The shinsu that he used to attack the regulars before they fought might be lethal to normal regulars but for Gamora, she would barely take any damage from those.

She would've easily deflected it even if it was a level above the first ones that he used which is obviously not the case since she still didn't manage to deflect it even after she landed on the ground.

Kai then landed on the ground as he stares at the smoke that is starting to vanish. He then thought on how his improvised shinsu attack was able to do this much.

'I just created that attack with common sense but it's much more effective than I thought...'

When Kai was about to shoot her with shinsu, he suddenly had an idea that can help him win this stale mate fight.

Even if the girl got hit by his attack closely a hundred of times, he is sure that she would still not be defeated by it so he decided to use his brain a little. Just a little.

He then remembers a time when he trolled random people by throwing a balloon with water inside it. Why he did that? Don't ask.

Remembering it, he then decided to gamble by basing the shinsu attack to it by using the shinsu as a water and compressing it to an orb to make a balloon filled water that would not pop easily. And the result is...well, an injured Gamora.

It should have been impossible for someone who just learned how to use shinsu for some hours but for this red head irregular, impossibilities will always have the chance to become a possibility. Or maybe it has some logical reasons to it- who knows.

He then looked at Gamora who is just lying on the ground while looking at the ceiling. She's injured but not that much.

'Looks like she really has a thick skin. That attack should've been many times stronger than a normal shinsu attack since it's compressed and yet she only suffered minor injuries...' He thought before he saw her finally standing up as he spoke.

"Ready for round two?" He said with a meaningful smile as everyone who heard and understood the meaning that is hidden in his words thought...

'He's a playboy bastard.'

Before Kai and Anak fought.

The moment that the Red head and Anak clashed, Hatsu carried Leesoo by his back collar as he jumped a few meters infront of Rak and Khun. He then lets go of Leesoo who is still shaking after shouting nonsense at him while they were in the air.

*thud*

'I'm dead. Absolutely dead. I'm sorry that I will not get to keep my promise, Eun...' Thought Leesoo as he comically cried while kneeling and looking at the floor. (A/n: random name for Leesoo's friend...)

"Stand up, Ship Leesoo. It's disrespectful to the opponents if you won't even greet them properly." Said Hatsu as he grabs Leesoo by his back collar to make him stand up.

Hearing him, Leesoo just thought that he would just accept whatever his fate might be as he stood up and stop his knees from shaking before wiping his face off with his sleeves.

They both then looked at their opponents. A giant brown gator with a spear and a light blue haired boy with a brief case in his left hand and a knife in his right.

"Before we fight, let's introduce our selves first. I'm Hatsu." He said as he stared at them.

Leesoo then introduced his self next.

"Rak already know me but I will still introduce myself. I'm Leesoo." He said as he decided to man up. He always know that he is weak that's why he atleast wants to face death as a man. If he is going to die anyway then it's better to face it with his all even if it doesn't change anything.

"Rak." Rak simply said as he readied his spear.

They then looked at Khun as they waited for him to introduce his self.

'I should make them our allies after this test, but...I'm really somehow getting irritated from how that katana guy acts...tsk' He then makes up his mind as he decided to also introduce his self with some reluctance.

"Khun."

Hearing him finally introducing his self, Hatsu then pulls out one of his swords as Leesoo also got into a basic karate stance.

All four of them doesn't need to declare who they will face as they can somehow sense who they want and who wants to fight them.

"May the best team win."
