Chapter 42 Where is the Person

With unsteady support from the wall beside him, he murmured, "That blind guy who bumped into me, hurriedly apologize to me."

His head was throbbing, and seeing the other person was about to leave, he stretched out his hand to stop them, angrily demanding, "Hurry up and apologize to me."

"It seems like you were the one who bumped into me?"

It was a girl's voice, somewhat soft and muffled, and laced with the sweet scent of alcohol - intoxicatingly sweet.

Finally, Harvey Cooper opened his eyes.

What he saw was an exquisitely fair face with slight signs of impatience. In spite of her youthful naivety, her eyes resembled those of a slothful and seductive cat, oozing an intriguing mix of innocence and allure that could tempt many a man.
