Hannah lowered her head and gave a faint laugh, bitterness snaking through her voice. Her right hand gently caressed the unhealed wound in her palm, "George, could it be that you..."

"Hannah Winter." He suddenly cut her off, meeting her gaze, a thought crossing his mind. He steeled himself and coldly said, "I gave you an opportunity. It was you who failed to seize it."

During their time in Prideful, he had always treated her fairly. He even granted her the top-notch team that was originally planned for Tiffany.

He owed her nothing.
