Chapter 138 You Are So Nice

As they exited the restaurant, the sky outside had already darkened, a thick layer of dark orange clouds churning in the distance, sweeping the last glow of the setting sun off the face of the earth.

Arnold Simmons drove Hannah home.

She leaned towards one side, her short, two-piece dress revealed a glistening, porcelain waistline, delicate and slender. She turned her head, her eyes twinkling, mirroring her radiant looks. A seductive smile hung on her lips, but her voice had a touch of puzzlement, "This isn't the way back to school."

Arnold Simmons drew back his gaze, eyeing the traffic light in the distance, responding in a grave tone, "Hmm."

Hannah perked up, leaning towards him, her voice soft and coquettish, "Mr. Simmons, are you thinking of taking me home?"

Her sparkling eyes shone with anticipation, as if she was looking forward to something.

They were both adults, and the intent behind their words didn't necessarily have to be declared outright to be understood.
