Chapter 211: Statement

A single sentence was enough to scare off the paparazzi, causing them to tuck away their cameras.

After all, they were just hired to do the job, unaware of who was behind it, but they knew better than to cross the Simmons family.

A shiver ran down the spine of the paparazzi, and they could only watch as Arnold Simmons got in his car.

In the car.

The man took off his trench coat and put it aside, leaning back against the car seat, resting.

He appeared quite weary.

The assistant turned around and said, "President Simmons, the Paparazzi have been dealt with, and the police have agreed to issue an official statement, confirming your total lack of involvement in the incident."

The car was quiet, lit only by the dim car light.

"Hmm," the man responded, a warm yellow glow shadowing his face yet still carrying a hint of coldness.

A few minutes later, he opened his eyes, which were clear, dark, and free of fatigue, "Is the show premiering tonight?"
