Her cheeks immediately puffed up, and the sullen expression on her face made Arnold Simmons quickly reach out again to rub them for her.

Arnold stared at the profile of the woman in his arms, and the smile on his lips suddenly faded. He pursed his lips and stopped the movement of his hands.
He didn't speak, but the unhappiness was written all over his eyes.
Hannah turned to look at him, and now it was her turn to feel helpless.
