Contractual Partners.

Peace and sleep didn't come easy last night. But in the morning, Yun Meiyi woke up with a new mind and new determination. Coming back from jogging, she stopped in the hall and then turned to look in the direction of the kitchen. 

And finding him again there, she simply walked to him. Her eyes scanned the breakfast he was preparing. 

"You are cooking again." She asked and he looked up at her. Her nonchalance irked him. He didn't know why. But maybe because he wanted her to ask him why. 

Why did he not come home in the past few days? Where did he go? And why did he not sleep in the same bed with her yesterday? 

Even though he wouldn't give her the answers, he still wanted her to ask. To show the same restlessness that he was feeling inside. 

"Mhm. It's ready. Once you freshen up, we can have it." He said and Yun Meiyi nodded. But then turning around she called the butler.
