Death is inevitable.

"Ms. Yun, I am calling just to remind you about your appointment with Dr. Mark. Should I come to pick you up at your place?" Xiao Xiao spoke as the call got connected. And her mention of the doctor, Yun Meiyi reached to pinch the space between her brows. 

She couldn't believe the irony of her situation. Her life is at stake, yet she keeps forgetting about the fact that it's a mere illusion and not her reality. 

A depressing smile curled her lips. "That won't be needed. I will meet you at the restaurant itself." She said and disconnected it before hearing a polite hum from the other end of the call. 

Once disconnected, she didn't have the mood to speak more. So keeping her head down and focusing on her food, she silently ate her breakfast.
