"Kindness is what we have been known for. But that's not needed to be proved every time, Yu Rui. Living between humans, you have started to get too attached to them." Ming Kai spoke, reaching out to hold Yu Rui's shoulder like any elder brother would while giving advice to his younger one. 

Yu Rui's smile curled his lips faintly as he looked up at him. His gaze held the admiration when he looked up at him as always but today, there was a hint of disdain in his eyes. Ming Kai read that hint really well. 

But he didn't seem to care. Tapping his shoulder, he reasoned, "You might despise me for what I made you do. You might also despise me for what I said now, but believe me what I am saying is not wrong. You will know when you will see everything through the clarity of the crystal, removing all the blurs of emotion that you built living in this world. Humans are important but not above the world that Lord created."
