Her façade has already been shattered.

Su Yang stood at the corner and watched as Yun Meiyi gave her address to the attendant at the reception. She had a smile on her face and that she had long forgotten to give their ways. 

Her indifference seemed like a tantrum before but recently it had started to feel like a never-ending punishment. Especially after the strict steps she took against him. In the past, she wouldn't do anything that would displease him. But when she sent him to the prison last time, he realized that her indifference to him or the others was not a tantrum of hers. She was damn serious. 

And it only stuck with him today that is why it has become so serious. Her words still reverberated in his ears - there was no antidote. How could that be possible? 

Yes, he wanted her to feel the pain of death. But he never wanted her to die. He wasn't that cruel to see her die. 

No doubt she was so bent on severing ties with everyone - so determined about never seeing everyone.
