Interrogation

"Take a seat." The President said as he gestured towards the steel chairs placed on one side of a steel table.

We took a seat as he instructed, while he sat opposite of us, looking at us straight in the eye.

"Why did you two girls come out of the dungeon gate?"

We didn't answer.

"No response, then are you two from different dimensions like those monsters?"

'What should we do? This seems bad.' Amia queried.

'He only knows we appeared from a dungeon gate, but that doesn't prove anything.'

"Still not answering? I can lock you up for the rest of your life. You know that right?"

A woman came in with a tablet and handed it over to the President before leaving.

"We keep track of all the adventures there are, so if you're not in the database, then I'll lock you up for entering dungeon gates without a license."

He started scrolling through the list on the tablet, making sure he didn't miss anything.

Minutes passed until he came upon an ID which resembled Amia.

[Amia: Age: 18 | Sex: Female | Race: Human | Class: Combat Mage | Adventure Rank: C]

"So there's one of you, but is there another?"

[Aurora: Age: 18 | Sex: Female | Race: Human | Class: Combat Mage | Adventure Rank: B]

"So you both have Adventure Licenses, but there isn't any proof you awakened your systems 3 years ago."

He tapped on a different tab on the tablet and started scrolling down again, looking through

the ones that had awakened three years ago.

He looked through the list, hoping we weren't on the registration list for the awakening ceremony, since he just had a gut feeling.

When he reached the four hundred, he began grinning a bit as he was getting close to the end of the list, but that changed when he reached the 430s.

[Applicant Number 431: Aurora | Age: 15 | Sex: Female]

An image of the applicant was shown above, which looked like a 15-year old version of Aurora.

"One of you is on here, how about the other?"

He continued scrolling through the list, looking for any chance that Amia was on it, as he soon reached the 480s.

He stopped at number 501, where his eyes widened in disbelief.

"How?"

[Applicant Number 501: Amia | Age: 15 | Sex: Female]

Just like mine, there was an image that displayed a 15-year old version of Amia.

"There is still one thing that could convict you, which is that there aren't any records of dungeon gates forming in the ceremony hall."

He tapped on another tab and began scrolling through it, making sure he didn't miss anything.

After scrolling for a bit, he came upon a dungeon gate.

[Dungeon Gate: 7362 | Location Awakening Ceremonial Hall | Rank: B]

Shock filled his eyes, but he knew he couldn't do anything to prove this was fabricated, as it would be impossible since Aurora and Amia had been with him all this time.

"I'm sorry for your inconvenience. I was wrong in my assumptions, so I'll compensate you with two thousand C-Rank Monster Cores."

A woman came in with a black and blue braclet and handed it over to the President and left the room shortly after.

"This is a spatial bracelet, which holds the two thousand Rank Monster Cores, so take it and you can leave."

"Thanks." I said and took the bracelet from his hand before leaving with Amia.

We left the Adventures Association and walked down the streets, while Amia looked at me with confusion.

'What did you do?'

'I just changed the database a bit, that's all.'

'Sure, you added both of us as adventures and our applicants 3 years ago, and lastly, you added a dungeon gate that wasn't real.'

'So, it released us from that man, who had a bad vibe around him.'

'I agree with that, but what do we do now?'

"Let's buy a house that's close to the Adventures association."

"Alright."
