Three Queens

'We can use this chance to diminish the numbers with their focus only on protecting their queen,' said Amia.

'True. Use your psychic ability and aim for the openings between their exoskeletons.' With her demonic scythe in hand, Aurora took a step forward and disappeared.

Appearing in the center of the ants, Aurora swung her scythe at every fatal opening she could see, bringing the numbers of the ants down quickly.

As Aurora continued slaughtering through the middle of the ants, Amia shot demonic spears and javelins with great accuracy at the openings between their exoskeletons.

Once the armored giant ants stopped coming into the intersection, Aurora and Amia killed the last few ants. They both sighed in relief as they had been killing for an hour, but they still had the hundreds of ants that made it to the queen's chamber to kill.

'This isn't only false information, but the quest's rank is supposed to be S-Rank judging by the amount and strength of them.' Aurora said, telepathically. 'But we were going to do an S-Rank quest, so I don't mind doing two.'

'Let's finish them off and deal with it later.' Amia embraced Aurora, pressing her against her breasts and leaning in for a kiss.

Aurora accepted, and they kissed for a minute before one of them pulled away, blushing as she felt happy but knew that they had a quest to finish and questions to ask.

After pulling out of Amia's embrace, Aurora grabbed her hand, and walked with Amia into the tunnel that the ants had marched through previously, quickly following their trail, masking their scent and sound.

After walking through several tunnels, they came upon a T-intersection and split up, since they could sense that both routes went to the same chamber, the queen's ant chamber.

They walked through their own tunnels, soon reaching the end of the tunnel, prompting Amia to stop, as Aurora teleported above the ants with five throwing knives in each hand and threw them.

When the throwing knife hit anywhere between its joints, electricity surged from the blade of the knife, frying the insides of the ant, followed by another knife being shot out of its body. That was purely formed of lightning. It targeted another ant and repeated the process.

Seeing her kin being slaughtered as if they were cattle, she became furious, ordering her kin to kill the intruder, as the queen, along with two other ants a bit smaller than her, kept laying eggs that quickly hatched, giving birth to more ant soldiers.

'I get that the queen is laying eggs, but how are the other two?' Aurora thought, inspecting the three large ants that were laying eggs.

[Lesser Ant Queen - level 3115 (S Rank)]

[Ant Queen - Level 3502 Boss (S Rank)]

[Lesser Ant Queen - level 3116 (S Rank)]

'There are three S-rank queens, with the largest one being that queen, and the others being secondary queens, which would only happen if they are trying to increase their numbers rapidly.' Aurora thought, slaughtering tens of ants.

Seeing that Aurora was in a tight spot, Amia began firing hundreds of death-infused spears, causing any ant that was hit with them to die, no matter if it was fatal or not.

With Amia's releasing some of the pressure on her, Aurora made her way to the abdomen of one of the lesser queens, killed all the newborn ants, and threw something into its abdomen.

Aurora did the same to the other two queens and teleported away, making them further furious, but that was stopped soon by…

*BOOM!!!!

The abdomens of the three queens exploded, sending a few shards of their exoskeleton flying in many directions, but the ant queens were still alive. The only difference now was that their abdomen and back legs were severely injured, making them unable to move or lay eggs.

'That takes care of the egg laying problem and also the chance of them attacking us as we slaughter their kin.' Aurora thought as she moved through the angry ants, killing them with ease.
