Child of the Labyrinth (1)

Lorcan watched Elvine play with the faerie queen. He knew the dark elf could easily end the fight, but Elvine obviously wanted to see how powerful Queen Aleera was. The dark elf had usually spent most of her time in the labyrinth, and it was the first time she was allowed to leave Dark Abyss by their new queen.

Elvine was a dark elf, so sunlight could impact her and harm her because it was known to weaken her powers. While demons were the first creation beings made by the gods, elves were believed to be the favored race of the heavens.

They were known for their agility, intelligence, and mastery of magic. Elvine, a dark elf, possessed even greater powers than her light elf counterparts. Her affinity for darkness allowed her to manipulate shadows and cast powerful spells that could rival those of the gods. This made her a formidable opponent, even for someone as powerful as Queen Aleera.
