Just as Tan Rou and her companion prepared to seize the guns, they suddenly discovered that several patrolling guards were pulling something out of their pockets, shaped like silencers.
"Not good!" Tan Rou became alert, "They really plan to shoot us here."
With some regret, Samiyi said, "Rou, I'm sorry, it's my fault for dragging you down."
Tan Rou was a bit nervous, but also somewhat excited. She had indeed fired guns before, but it had always been minor scuffles. She had never faced a situation where she was up against a group of people.
"Samiyi, do you believe I can get us out of this encirclement?" Tan Rou asked with a smile.
Samiyi was blaming herself when she heard Tan Rou's question. She immediately answered, "If you can get away, then just go by yourself. I'll stay here. After you've safely left, I'll surrender. They probably won't do anything to a princess like me."
However, Tan Rou said, "You're meant to be queen, you can't be caught here."
